I haven't played the game in a couple of years and started playing again quite recently. I really like the pcmdaily 2016 db, but since I'm from Sweden I kinda want to be able to play with a swedish national team in the World Championships. As far as I understand the swedish national team has been replaced in the 2016db and that's not at all strange considering the current state of swedish cycling and the fact that the db is supposed to include the best national teams in the world. But for me personally the game would be much more exciting if I was able to play with a Swedish national team. Is there a way to bring back the swedish team, while still using the pcmdaily2016 db? By using some sort of editor I assume, but what do I edit specifically?
The tables you have to edit are sta_country and dyn_national_team.
In sta_country, decide which national team you want to replace in fkid_national_team, and cut-paste the ID you find there to Sweden.
Then in dyn_national_team, change gene_sz_national_team of the team you want to replace to Sweden, gene_sz_abbreviation to nswe, and Constant to sweden. Leave all the others unchanged, unless you want to change the number of riders in the WC RR event and the ITT.
The reason why you can only replace and not add teams instead is that the hard coded limit for national teams is 26, sadly enough.
