can you select which races to use in career mode? I only want to use the pro tour races. I tried deleting the other races in STA_race and the corresponding stags in STA_stage, but when I try to launch career mode, the game shuts down. |

Have you tried simply deselecting them in sta_stage under gene_b_selected? Put a 1 or a tick depending on the editor under that column for the PT races, while leave them unticked or with a 0 when they're not PT. Otherwise you may also want to try and delete the Continental and possibly some of the useless ProContinental teams.

I think the main problem is that there's an entirely empty category, which, to my knowledge, the game doesn't tolerate. I think leaving one race in per category (setting popularity to 0, so impact is minimal) might be the best solution here.

Thx for the suggestions.
I'm using PCM Fast Editor.
In STA_race, there is a column called gene_b_isinactive. I clicked on all the races I wanted inactive (marked the box with a check mark).
There is also a column called fkIDUCI_class. I made sure to have at least 1 race from each class active.
In STA_stages, there is a column called gene_b_ selected. I selected all the stages that corresponded to the races I wanted to include (checked the box.)
I was able to launch career mode and select a team, but the game crashed when it tried to construct the calendar, so there's still something I'm missing. |

Wait I'm not sure on this one, weren't all of those boxes checked before then already?

Yes, they were all checked originally. I said that backwards. Sorry about. What I did was uncheck the stages that corresponded to the races I checked as inactive. |

Ah ok, don't worry
Not many ideas for this one, and trying with higher numbers of races each time is my best hint. Try activating 5 races, if it doesn't work try with a higher number etc. until it will - probably - eventually work.

My biggest concern is there's another table need to edit. If not, I'm sure I'll get it playing around w the races and stages tables. |

There's not another table to edit, unless all the daily members are missing something ofc hehe, those are all the ones linked to adding new races and stages.

In Pcm Fast Editor there is an option called team_races, here you can select or de-select the races you want to take part in or not, but remember to not put too many teams in a race or it will crash. |
