2016 DB: Stage Requests

Hello everyone,
Work on the 2016 DB is already being done, and part of it is the addition of these races. It would be great if you could create some of these races. If you plan to do a stage or race, please announce in this thread, so there won't be multiple people working on the same stage. If finished, uploading to the stage DB would be ideal, but posting here should do.
 Boucles de la Mayenne [2.1]
As soon as more profiles/maps become available, the list will be expanded.
If anything is unclear, wrong, please do not hesitate to ask here.

Nothing has been created so far unfortunately. It would be nice if someone could work on any of these, in order to allow us to avoid using cdx files.

I think Abu Dhabi should almost be ready. Emre99 have made 3 of the 4 stages, which you can find here at pcmdaily.
Still lack 1 stage, but at least we might get it 
As far as I know Boucles Mayenne is also a sadly missed race..
only cdx-files so far as I know and no-one works on it.
Same for Antwerpse Havenpijl 1.2 and among many Grand Prix des Marbriers 1.2.
Then perhaps they are not present in Expansion, but still ....

It is a very good point you make about those cdx files. It's a shame to see many races without real files. It's not much of an issue for some insignificant .2 races, but I did add Tour de Wallonie and Boucles de la Mayenne to the first post. If you manage to find details for some other races that really deserve their own stages and are in the expansion pack already, but only have a cdx, feel free to tell me, as I couldn't find any more than these.
Also thanks for notifying me about Abu Dhabi, I must have forgotten to check emre's thread.

When do you need these? I will try to create some after our semester ends, in about three weeks time.
I have also made Cholet - Pays De Loire earlier, because I could only find cdx files. Do you have real files for it already? I have also made East Bohemia Tour (2.2), but that one is not in the expansion pack as far as I know. |

I've made Stage 5 of the Tour of Croatia, but didnt want to post it until I had time to do the rest. It should be possible to use the zcts from toto's Giro variant to create Stages 1, 2 and 3 - with perhaps only a few road additions required.

There's no deadline set at the moment, and I don't know much more about that at the moment. I think 3-4 weeks should still be fine though.

I already downloaded Cholet - Pays de Loire. I downloaded it and it will of course feature in the next Expansion Pack.
East Bohemia Tour is not on the list to be added, will ask the rest of the team for opinions on adding that race. It shouldn't be too much work to add it, but it's rather a question of the DB getting too large.

Great to hear about Croatia. Due to being a bit busy I won't be able to do it myself this week, hopefully someone else is able to step in on that.

To be honest, I don't think it should be added for that very reason as it is a pretty minor race (at least in 2015 it was). |

I second that, since it will have some or even more attention for riders to crank it up for Andalucia and then Paris-Nice or Tirreno.
Many top riders will jump from Mallorca to this in and around Valencia to be sure.

The plan is to include that race indeed. However, since their website is under construction there's no route available yet, which makes it kind of hard to post it here.
Tour la Provence is the same, it should be added here as soon as I manage to get my hands on a more detailed route schedule.
On East Bohemia: After a short discussion we decided not to include it indeed.
And finally, we'd prefer the stages made to be finished at the end of this calendar year, in order to allow us to test throughout January. The deadline will therefore be set at January 1st.

I got another missed race.
2.HC. Tour of Hainan, and it has a better startlist than Tour of Japan in 2015
Astana,Lampre,Trek, CCC and Drapac tops the list.
I know DEM files might not be present for China and not many China Teams are present in pcmdaily. But then races as Mexico is far lower on teams in the DB.
The Dem problem will be similar to Arctic Race of Norway, also 2.HC. It demands a creative person to make these

I'll create the Vuelta Asturias.
Stage 1 is already finished. A very difficult mountain stage.
Stage 2 is completed on Sunday or Monday. In the folder I have stages of the 2013 Vuelta Asturias. Potentially, you can use this as a variant. Have they still not even played, so do not know if those quality.

The zcts file should be there. But I can guarantee that after a few kilometers the peloton is so decimated that are only many small groups go. So it was certainly in the 4 tests I've done. Between Place 1 and Place 10 were gap about 15 minutes. |

I will do the Tour of Japan. Stage 6 won't be possible to do exactly, but I will try to mimic the profile as much as possible. |

Started working on Chrono Champenois myself. Route is already finished (only 33km ITT, so hardly any difficulty). If I find the time for it I should have it finished somewhere this week.
