I d like to ask sb about training system in pcm 15...I dont understand that training styles...which I should use? What is the difference between them? All I need to know is to match rider style with trainer style and I dont need to care about anything else? For example I can train rider who is a sprinter and rider who is lets say a climber with one trainer because they have the same style? And what about stats progression? Ho does it work?
Yes you can train a sprinter and climber with the same trainer. The training is now about the training style, not about the rider's specialisation.
You can assign any trainer to any rider. If your havent matched the proper style, after a few months you will get a message telling you what style your rider should be trained on, so no dramas.
If you go to the training page, after a while the style of your rider will be displayed, but before that, you can look at the stars, if you see that the stars are decreasing, then you should change the trainer.
By experience, to give you an idea: the young riders like ground breaking (usualy under 25, but each rider varies), the mature one (25-29 years old) like modern, and the old one like traditionnal.
So if you start a career with only youngsters, just get ground breaking trainers.
Im posting a photo about the trainings and how they influence your stats.
Also (and thats by experience again, not sure 100%) if your rider is maxed in his main stat, or close to max, and you train him on something else, your main stat could decrease. It just happened to me. 24 years old climber, maxed at 77 in MO, I was training him in Time trial, and his MO stat went down to 76. So if I can give you an advice, dont hammer the main stat straight away, train different stats. What I'm doing now I train my guys up to 75-76 straight away so they are competitive, then I try to max out they Sta, Res, Rec, and then I finish the training on their main stat.
And how it is with stats progression or stats decline in career? Because I read that some stats can decrease rapidly whereas improvement in stats take a long time?
As far as I know I was just trying to play a career mode but on 21st January I noticed that Valverde MO stats were -2 down and HIL -1. (I didnt play for Movistar team). And I know that his age of decline is 36 but at the moment he is 35 years old. It is weird that only after a 3 weeks playing there can be such a significant change
Yeah the decline age system has changed. Decline ages that you can find won't be taken into account but random factors will come into play, like training style, results etc.
