Actually making another thread  but I'm actually interested.
Poulidor, Sagan, Ulrich, Valverde and Zoetlemelk here for obvious reasons, Gimondi for seconds behind Merckx, same with Janssen and Ockers, Zabel, because you know, Christophe because of the fork incidents, Merckxs because the number of wins translates to a lot of seconds and Valverde because he seems to come second a lot.

Poulidor easily for me.
That said Ullrich possibly comes close.
2agan...nope...1-2 years of 2nd`s is not enough. Though he can surely become the best in the next 10 years. |
