Tip for Historical DB makers

If you want to add leader shirts to Historical DB without have to rename leader jerseys in the 3D/cyclists/Cloth/Race folder each time your want to change DB to play and have a ready-to-play DB, this is the way to do:

First of all, in your release folders, name your leader jerseys like this (exemple of a 2001 DB and Tour de France leader jerseys)

tour01_maillot_...


Then, in your db, in the race table, in the CONSTANT column, replace "tour" by "tour01"

Here the result without touching my 3D/cyclists/Cloth/Race folder

The only issue is that the border file used is the default one..... but if you want to customize borders by creating a "tour01" border folder with historical elements, it is possible!.... extra work for Jacky Durand???

Other folder influenced by this method, the \Gui\Single\TrophyJersey folder

If you don't create a tour01_minimaillot[....] when you have replaced tour by tour01 in CONSTANT column in the DB, you'll see a pink square!

How to make a minimaillot with help of your normal jersey?

With the export jersey tool released by Cyanide last year
You put your normal jersey in the "\Assets\Gui\Cloth\Team" folder
You run the application in the "batch" folder in your wanted format (mini maillot leader 64x64, mini maillot team 256x256)
You will find your jersey in the "output" folder

TIP N°2 : Dedicated Classification file

Example: Adding 90's 2000's classification rules for Tour de France in a 1996DB without have to rename any file in the XML/classification folder

First of all, place the file I added in my post in your XML/Classifications folder

Then, in your db, in the race table, in the gene_sz_classification_xml column, replace "top_france_grandtour" by "top_france_grandtour_1990_2000"
