How can I create my own Tour variant?

Hey my friends,
I would like to create a TdF variant out of exsisting stages. I know how to install stage variants, but I wonder how to pick my 21 stages of choice and put them into a new variant for the game to randomly chose in career mode.
Thank you in advance

You just change the name of the tour.
So instead of TDF 2015 you write TDF variant or something, and then ofc. change the numbers on the stages as well, so you have from 1-21
Remember one stage needs two files

Save the stage files into Local Disk (C: )/Program Files/Cyanide/Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2015 /CM_Stages
(I think Documents/Pro cycling Manager 2015/Mod/Stages works as well, but I might be wrong), if you have steam, then I'm not sure if it's different and where.
Rename each stage: top_tdf_01_VariantName
Change the 01 to the stage number (always 2 digits) and change the variant name to whatever you want.
Hope this helps

Thank you so much! This makes so much sense that I don't have to try it before thanking you. I will have fun with it for the next 3 hours or so

I did it! For those who are interested, here is my TdF-version. You might have a variety of other variants already, so i called the files _Borsti, which is my rl nickname. Thanks again, that was satisfying af.
