I've finally decided to start creating some of my own races but straight away I have stumbled on a big problem (but I'm sure it's easy to solve)
I've created a Kuurne- Brussels - Kuurne route using Strava and then exported the GPX file. Then opened the PCM stage editor and opened the new file and up came the 3D image of the race. I then went through top view and loaded the GPX file again but none of the roads appeared in order to build the race.
The YouTube video that I've been watching on how to create a race, said the problem can occur if the roads are too narrow/small, but the road being used are mostly normal roads, so I'm not sure what the problem is.
Is it a problem with Strava, the editor or am I'm missing an obvious fix?
The same happened to me, it sometimes happens when the roads are too close together, as the name of the race suggests the race starts and finishes in the same place so the roads might be coming very close together, its so annoying bu it is just like that, I have given up on creating races it is so complicated, I highly recomend a stages pack that has all the 2010,2011,2012,2013 uci tour races (including grand tours and wc) it has pretty much everything it was initially for pcm14 but works with 0 problems on pcm15, it takes about 2 hours to download because it is 2,7gb but it is TOTALLY worthit, keep in contact with me via private messages an I will guide you through the process,
Kind regards, david13
For Flanders, you can use North or Netherlands. For Wallonie, German or Alps.
The Road Texture: I think 2a for highroads, 3b for other busy roads and 5a, b or c for country roads. For cobbled sections: Texture 8, because texure 7 is for Paris Roubaix.

Thanks for the feedback and I had already used Netherlands and North anyway. 3A is the default setting for type of road texture, so should be changed:
2a is for motorways?
3a for most roads?
5a,5b,5c for single track roads?
I used 2 for the default width on most roads, some 3 for busier looking roads and 1 for the narrow roads.
