I have been working over the years, though not spending too much time on it making a tour of Götaland. Going from Göteborg in the west, past Husqvarna in the east, up to Skane in the north and down past Helsingborg in the South. Now as I have never travelled outside of Australia, I can only rely on google and other internet images but will get back to work on it for pcm15.
My tour was going to be more than 5 stages though, probably up around 8 and only using the one map.
I am assuming the old editor files from pcm10 can be loaded into the pcm15 editor. Can someone correct me if I am wrong.
A back memory of the ole Postgirot perhaps ???
That would be nice if someone could create that.
What you need for upgrade is of course the zcts files. I am sure old works nice to pop up in newer version of pcm. Actually it's very important after 2014 I think. If one got old stages especially with a smaller circuit at the end of the race you always get horrible results in viewing. The VIP, stands and such turned backwards and even in the middle of the road. Spectators crossing the roads, just a mess.
Solved with zcts file and un-tiking of MERGE followed by new Generate borders, and the old file is perfect in every way (almost)
So if you got old stages and upgrade them, please don't forget unticking merge.
I still have my old zcts files anyway. Will get back to work more on it. Would be better if I could get gpx files to work but when I load on the top view no black line appears for me to trace the race route. Will have to play around. I'm still new to stage editing.
11 Days, 1233km, mostly flat though some hills involved. Prologue and a ITT. 1 mountain top finish on stage 5 including a couple other smaller climbs with rest day after (good to give it everything on the climb knowing you have a day to recover before the ITT)
Let me know what you think before I start doing it all in the stage editor.
