Some information that all teams will need to bear in mind prior to renewals, is a new addition to the Transfer season: a Transfers Tax.
This is a tax that will be applied to the income that teams receive through rider trades or loans.
A team's total income from transfers will be taxed at the following rates:
Less than 500,000: No tax
500,000 - 1,000,000: 10% tax
1,000,000+: 20% tax
Examples to show how this works:
Grupo Nutresa had an income of 85,000 last year. They would pay no tax.
Metinvest had an income of 500,000 last year. They would pay no tax.
Vesuvio had an income of 910,000 last year.
The first 500,000 is untaxed. The remaining 410,000 is taxed at 10%, so Vesuvio would pay a tax of 41,000.
Simply Red Bull had an income of 4,900,000 last year.
The first 500,000 is untaxed. The next 500,000 is taxed at 10%, which is a tax of 50,000. The remaining 3,900,000 is taxed at 20%, which is a tax of 780,000. Therefore Simply Red Bull would pay a total tax of 830,000.
---
The Transfer sheets which all teams use during Transfers will automatically calculate the amount of tax that a team needs to pay - and will deduct that from your total remaining budget.

Oh wow oh wow
Spoiler I put a laughing face not because of amusement, but because of *nervous* hysteria.
Should definitely make things interesting despite it causing a reduction in our budget. It's the same for everyone, so I definitely can't complain. It's definitely a way to limit "over-training". If Simply were to pay 830k in tax, that's a big chunk out of cash to spend on training.

Damned socialists! Taxing the rich
Is this simply taxing the amount of incoming transfer fees or the amount of 'profit'?
I.e. Team x buys dopehead dokerin for 2,000,000 and sells Victory Nibawli for 3,500,000.
They get taxed on the 3,500,000 or the 1,500,000?

It's on the incoming transfer fees.
The 3,500,000 would contribute towards your team's total income - which is what would be taxed.

So where is this tax money going? I wouldn't be surprised if the Admins all have brand new shiny avatars after the transfer season..
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Don't renew any of your sale objects.
Your wage budget increases and you pay no tax.
Problem solved

Very interesting idea. Should be interesting to see how it influences things, but it seems like it should really slow down training.

Think will be more like slightly restrain!. With various new rules and tweaks introduced, everyones all-round planning has to go up a notch - all good imo .

Another shocker, i will need a bit of time to think about all that changes in the game. We will need to think hard this year, but i love the complexity.
At least i dont have any huge riders going out, but it can make possible buys a bit harder.
