The Lost Gems Race Series
Many riders have never really gotten a chance to prove themselves.
Now is the time for some of those to gain some attention.
A full peloton of young riders with little experience will battle out in five races celebrating the different disciplines of cycling.
Riders will be limited to XP 1-2 and a max age of 25
The bulk of the peloton will consist of FA's from around the world, but minimum-wage stagiaires will be involved as well.
Eligible stagiaires will be entered unless opposed by their manager.
All stagiaires participating will be hosting a team wearing their usual 2014 kit while the remaining teams will find suiting sponsors elsewhere.

In case of point equality the TTT decides. For the team classification the best team in the TTT wins the comparison, but in the individual priority is given to points won in the other races.
DNF's are given 20 pts more than the worst finisher.

Startlist is building up nicely! I'd suggest putting Africa 2 in Jaguar-Eritel colours, with there being 3 Eritreans already in there.

You could make an American or Mongolian side and I would be glad to let them use my Fox Sports - Golomt jersey...or is it only 2014 jerseys and teams??

Will do. Had planned to open of for people to claim a team to sponsor when the final teams starts to look clear. Jaguar-Eritel gets Africa 2 then.
Jakstar: For now I consider America and Mongolia covered by the existing teams. I'll generally stick to 2014 teams as that requires the least amount of DB editing on my end. Nothing against the new managers - just me being lazy

Fair enough. Well if you do need just a jersey to cover one of the remaining 5 or so teams. Like What your gonna do with that Africa 2 by using the Jaguar Eritel jersey. Something like that... But yeh, I get what you mean

Startlist very close to finalized. Smaller changes may happen if SN decides to add some interesting talent or someone feels I've missed someone.
Bouygues Telecom and Bonsucro ended up being filled with riders that missed out everywhere else, so that's why it may be harder to find a strong team identity there. That's the risk when signing stagiaires of other nationalities than your own.
Feel free to claim sponsorship over any team not already sponsored by another MG-team.
2014-teams will be used as that requires the least amount of editing for me.

Well, I'd apply for Oceanic Team with Strava but no place for us. Will follow still.

Well, we would sponsor this Oceanian team, as there are a few guys we had on our shortlist the past years.

Thanks for the interest. Team sponsorships have been updated. 5 teams remain available for sponsorship.
I'll start looking on routes tomorrow and will publish over the week to allow racing to commence early next week.

I can try, allthough it'll probably be really crappy.

Hmm I suppose I can accept a new jersey and just overwrite the one from ASDA so I won't have to edit sponsors, equipment etc.
For noe I have it down as Team ASDA-Savers.
Don't mind changing the name while keeping the ASDA jersey either.
