Helle everyone. I am Frank Appel, the Executive Director of the German company Deutsche Post. Our company is the most important mailing one in Germany.
It was founded in 1995, when the Deutsche Bundespost's administration was privatized.
I love cycling, specially road cycling. Some weeks ago I started being interested in German cycling, in U23, U20 and U17 races. I think they are really interesting, even more than the professional ones, as they are very combative -always attacking- and they don´t mind if they lose a race but being at the front.
I thought that I could search for some German young riders, signing them and creating a professional cycling team.
The idea is almost done, and the squad is decided yet, but we can´t announce anything at the moment.
The team will be composed by 15 riders. 12 of them will be German, young riders. The other three will be older cyclists, with more experience in Pro-cycling.
I can announce that those three riders will be:
- Jure Kocjan
- Ioannis Tamouridis
- Robert Vrecer
Do you know what links them?

TRAINING I: SPARKASSSEN MÃœNSTERLAND GIRO
Hello everyone! Here's MARSUPILAMI telling you all 'bout the first training of the new German team, the Team Deutsche Post!
They are riding their first race, just as training. The race is Sparkassen Münsterland Giro, a German flat classic. There will be some good teams, like the Allianz-Asus World Tour team.
Profile:
The Deutsche Post will send to the race Jure Kocjan as the leader for the sprint, Fabian Schnaidt, Ioannis Tamouridis and Jens Wagner to help him doing a good result, Marcel Meisen and Jan Ullrich Jr. as the domestiques for Jure, and Robert Vrecer and Hans-Georg Bein to try to be in the breakaway.
In the overview of favourites, we can see the four best riders for this race are form the Allianz-Asus team. So they really have a very strong 8! We can also see that Kocjan is an Outsider. Is a Top 5 possible? Could we try the podium? Am I dreaming, or can we win this race? We´ll see it!
Our attacks were really disturbing for the peloton. We tried the breakaway with Meisen, Ullrich Jr. and Bein, but the peloton didn´t let them go out! Oh my god! Neither Vrecer in the break! We´ll have to wait in the pack...
Per (Adria Mobil), MartÃn Gómez (Guatevisión), Herget (Germany National Team) and Stachowiak (CCC Polsat) are in a controlled breakaway.
When the gap reached the 6 minutes, Tissot and Allianz-Asus started pushing more seriously to catch the break.
Look! With 120 kms to go, Robert Vrecer places an attack and the pack lets him go!
With 95 kms to go and a gap of 4'30", Robert Vrecer catches the head of the race! Such a good movement by the Slovenian! At that moment, the gap was going down and down thanks to Tissot and Allianz-Asus' work.
70 kms to go, and the gap is few seconds more than 3 minutes... It will be a hard work to keep this break until the finish line!
While the peloton is pushing higher and higher, Vrecer and his partners in the break are upping the pace too when it´s only 50 kms to go and the gap isn´t more than 2'30" for them!
Look how the peloton is pushing! A very high speed sensation for the public!
The breakaway is doing a big effort to keep a 2 minutes lead with 40 kms to go! Very difficult!
The most important part of the race is here. Just 30 kms to go and 1'30 is the lead to keep for the break!
Mario Stock (Celestyal Cruises) is trying to leave the big group! Will he be able to catch the breakaway and fight for the win?
With 13 kms, Yelko Gómez (Guatevisión) places an attack!
Oh! Look at that! Vrecer can´t follow the group´s pace and is out of it!
Once Vrecer is caught, Bein puts a very high pace and it seems that Deutsche Post is the strongest team, as they are opening a small gap!
The race is broken! Herget (Germany National Team) is on the lead with a 15" gap before... Deutsche Post train! They are half a minute before the rest of favourites!
Look at the gaps with 3 kms to go! The win is here mates!
Last kilometer! Kocjan is for the win!
WIN! Amazing result for this team on their first race! Tamouridis is 2nd, Schnaidt 3rd and Wagner 4th! Beat that!
___
What do you think of this result? Did you like the way I post? I hope you liked it, and also the way i won! See you next time with Deutsche Post!
@Croatia14 You are wrong, sorry!
PS: I know I haven´t announced the squad yet. Let me work on it a bit more.
PS2: I don´t know how I managed to get that extremely good result, playing in hard. I have to see if I was playing in hard or in another level.

1-2-3-4 in your first race wow! When I thought you only have three riders, that is awesome...

Good luck. First stage (although it was training?) was clearly played on Easy. Also maybe announcing a full squad would have been better as well
also, don't ask all the time if people like the posts or a race. Write the story how you want and don't fish for comments. You should write this for your own pleasure.
