This year began with the introduction of the mew "All Star" team style event, in which riders would represent their hemisphere, as opposed to there nation. It will begin with the teams naming there riders, which is on the 14th February 2015. It will be interesting to see who the two directors will choose, as director of the northern hemisphere, Sergio Cantani, who has already been told all three of his major GC contenders that they will not be competing in order to focus on the Grand Tours. Team Southern Hemisphere's Malay coach, Lee Kung-Yung, only has this issue with Nairo Quintana. We will get back to you soon with the team latest and any other updates we can get.

So, with the teams announced we can now take some time to look ahead to the first race, The Tour Of Bolivia. First, however, let's talk about the team news. A British dominant Northern Hemisphere which sees three riders from the isle of man in the team. It was a big shock to see Luke Rowe selected in the team, when they had the option of someone like Spartacus or Tom Boonen. In The team from the south, the big shock was Grmay. Whether or not he can prove himself is a different story.
Onto the Tour of Bolivia, which begins with a 5KM prologue which is fairly flat until the last 200m where the riders will have to climb a 20% hill up to the finish. Stage two is completely flat as they head through the country towards the mountain. At Stage 3 the completion will really begin as the riders face three peaks in a row, The first of which is a 7KM climb at around 8%. Upon descending, they will be faced with a gruelling 10KM climb at an average percentage of 11%. This will surely show who is strongest. The final climb up to the finish is a short 1KM climb at around 5%. The final stage is a team time trial, which will test how well the teams have got to know each other over the past few days. The Tour of Bolivia begins on the 16th of Feb

Erm, can I just point out that Costa Rica and Ethiopia are nowhere near the southern hemisphere?
And Colombia only for a small part iirc, so Uran and Henao are probably our as well.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Well are they going to be fair teams or do you just want a massive domination? Anyway it is roughly by continent and I count central America as south America

Or just make Northern team a bit weaker. It just had to be pointed out

Ahahahaha you had one job. I doubt Amador or Grmay are going to make much of a difference anyway, but do as you like.

Well, as I said, Henao and Uran are from the Northern hemisphere as well, so maybe it's better to find a concept that works? Like Europe vs. Rest of the World or something?

So the tour of Bolivia got underway today with the prologue. As it was just a short prologue I will just recap slightly. It was the young brit, Luke Rowe who stunned today as he powered up the final climb to gain around 5 seconds on team mate Tony Martin, who looked to be taking it easy. Here is the top 3 for you...
Spoiler 1st. Luke Rowe
2nd. Tony Martin
3rd Cadel Evans
