Zimnyanya GP
A fairly flat classic and will most likely end in a bunch sprint finish. The classic is 184.4km long and has a rating of c1. A total of 20 teams are taking part 16 of which are Pro–Conti and there are 4 Continental teams.

Ciolek, Napilitano, Cavendish, Goss are the favourites for the race, Van Stayen could also be a victor with his very strong lead out train. Ciolek has the strongest sprint out of the contenders so a victory for him could be very likely.
Since the stage is flat, sprinters' lead out train will have to heavily rely on their sprint train. This means that riders such as Coroni and Van Avermaet could greatly help their leader.
If a surprise attack were to be launched by a puncher maybe that attack could be made by Theo Reinhardt or Bruno Lima. Although the outcome is very unlikely who knows what could happen?

Welcome to the MG jihardy, good to see a new reporter. Next time do make sure to place the thread in the correct place, I moved it for you now.
Serebriakov is in the race, so my team will probably fail massively. Hopefully my team for some reason joins the break

Cav for the win... If the sprinter teams deliver, which they hopefully will do. Goss yet missing a huge result in a one day race, so it would be great to see him picking up the shape from Eneco Tour, now almost one month ago though.
This may be the first of a few key races for Oz this month, to show if we can really stay in the Top-5 fight overall.

There is no chance Lima will attack, perhaps Vorganov, but I cannot see Bruno do it. (Would be brilliant tho...)
Experiences from past races tell me Greipel will search a train to follow, whilst Ulanowkski won't show his face... Tzortzakis could try to join an early break.

Kupfernagel will try to repeat the surprise of Down Under Classic, for this back in rely on the help of Silvestre and Davis.
The top5 would be ideal but less than the top 10 will be a disaster.
It is always good to see somebody else besides the usual suspects to report a race

AMEXpc has hopes of getting Paride Grillo into the top 12 but with so many top level sprinters here that appears unlikely. We can always hope that he catches on to one of the top sprinters trains and gets sucked along.
No real breakaway threat on this AMEX squad.
Sprint races are always crazy you never know what might happen.

Van Stayen, Corioni and Van Avermaet on the same team haven't worked out at all so far this season and I doubt it will change here. Nevertheless, Van Stayen should be strong enough to fulfill our goal of a top 10.

Good ol' Maksimov.
Congrats tsmoha although I wish you would stop racking up the points so quickly. I can't keep up in the standings.

Now, that's a way to kick off a new month! Great to see Gossy indeed picking up his shape from Eneco Tour, this was a brilliant sprint in a tight finish with many top-sprinters head-to-head. First race-win for Goss, that feels cool! Deserved banana:
Dall'Antonia with some awesome stuff for our banned member. Kinda waste of luck, which other teams need better. Nice to see Meiji there, must have been a strange race for them with a long break of no racing at all

Nice debut report jihardy!
Goss delivers as his manager wanted. They are on a roll! I'd worry for CSC, but with Santander likely disbanding it's the 6th that matters so Gossy winning ain't bad for their chances.
Cav keeping his team in fight for survival, but where did Maksimov go here..Great result for Lierse, Peeters showing his quality finally.

My team failed. Points-wise it's not too bad, but I expect more from 2 80 SP guys supporting by a 77 and 2 76 SPs as well...

But what happens if Santander finishes in one of the relegation spots?

Typical race for the team, or actually just rubbish. 33rd?! That's really disappointing. Something will have to change for Serebriakov if he wants a new contract

6 of my 7 riders dropped in a race like this one But at least Kupfernagel got the top 10, although not fantastic was the goal. Still think the top 5 was clearly within reach so this race was not a success for the team
Congrats tsmoha and thanks for the report jihardy

Ahh true. The way Tour started though I think there's big chance they will get relegated. Gotta hope for the best!

Grillo runs true to form. On his own in the last kilometers, he follows others and finishes 9th ahead of some of the 80 rated sprinters. Considering how young our sprint support riders are Grillo has done well. Selig (lvl3.57) and Reinhardt (3.55) will need one more season to reach their full potential.
Next up for AMEX will be the Isle of Man. AMEX is send just 2 rider to this British Classic. Patrick Gretsch Should earn some points, but Arnaud Godet is there 100% for experience.
After the Isle of Man we have a squad at the Manx International. This hilly classic will be important for Mehr-Wengie and Kump to perform well.

As usual if you are in the top bracket of sprinters (the top four were pretty much the best sprinters here) you usually get a decent finish. Outside of that sprints are a lottery - perhaps a bit like real life but probably more due to blocking here.
Some real bonus points for some CT teams who sneaked out a top ten.
Twas a really tight finish in the end - thanks for the report here JiHardy - great for a non manager to get involved in reporting, hopefully look forward to you joining the ranks next year!

Sorry I didn't comment before the race @jihardy it's always great to see another reporter so thanks for taking on the race my comments before this would just have been Vanderbiest never performs in one day races and the same thing happened again so not too much of a surprise to see him in 13th |

Wtf? Where was Maksimov? I had an excellent lead out train for him here. Nevermind, PCM AI thinks differently.
