[PCM14] How to change equipment stats

Hi all,
I've just finished the Giro, but I have some problems with my eqiupment. For some mysterious reason, all my equipment has decreasing stats. I had a look into the DB to change it back again, and I somehow managed to change a few things, but it doesn't make any sense to me. Right now, my road bike for the flat is as aero as my TT bike, while it is lighter than the TT bike. This doesn't make any sense, so I'd want to make sure there's an aero difference again. Can anyone tell me how equipment stats work?

Yes they did. I have a R&D contract for frames, but all my frames and wheels got worse. My cobbles bike started off with comfort 4 and eventually ended up with 2.5

l've never seen equipment stats decreasing, that's the point. The equipment system isn't too difficult to understand: You sign with an equipment sponsor, the AI decides if you can affect the developing of the models, and, if not, you'll receive the new models once a year.

I've already looked into every table that contained the word 'equipment' (except 'track_equipment' ) and the only place that seemed to have to do with it, didn't really either, so I'm a little out of ideas.

The tables starting with STA_ are the base tables.
I would look in tables starting with DYN_ if you want to find a problem in your career.

If I remember correctly, the word "brand" is part of the table name.

It may seem that it doesn't, but it actually controls the equipment stats. In fact you can see 6 columns into that table:

IDequipment: The ID of that model of frame/wheels/other;
IDteam: The team that is using it;
fkID_equipment_model: Model's name;
value_f_scoring: I don't know what does it control tbh;
value_f_fiability: Reliability score;
value_f_feeling: Comfort.

Brand is indeed part of it, it contains the equipment supplier's contracts, not the equipment itself though...

I figured as much. Although 'comfort' is a little misleading here, because it defines the happiness effect on the rider riding it, not the ability to ride cobbles.

So no one really seems to know... Maybe I should look into some team-related tables.

In STA_equipment_template you can see what diffrent kind of types give as stat. Like Poly give a 2-3-1 to frames. If you want to have bikes that are light you need to make them Mountain in STA_equipment_model, Find your frame there (with the IDequipment_techno in DYN_equipment_techno) and change its template.

By doing this you can change the stats of the equipment.

Or even easier, just go to STA_equipment_template and put all values to 5, this way all the teams have the same stats for equipment and the research is less important.

Put the evaluation that's standard 20 and at max 30 in the editor.
put that stat at maybe 100 and it will have ridiculous high stat.
but in that way you can edit the equipments
