You should use Excel to copy and paste large amount of data.
Either you copy the stats columns of each cyclist separately or you use sorting and filtering so that the cyclist are aligned in both databases accordingly so that you can copy more rows at the same time.
You can find my Excel Editor in the download section of PCM12
You can make a copy of the Excel file so that you can open more databases at the same time.

That makes no sense to me.
There is no reason to copy the whole database. (The copy will be exactly like the original. So what is the copy for?)
I cannot help you find the databases. You have installed it on your computer. Either search for it or download it again. |

By the sounds of things it would be easier to copy the sponsors the other way or am I missing something?
Anyway the riders you've created should be at the bottom of the unique I'd list so they should be easy to copy across, though if 1 DB is bigger then the other you'll need to check for unique ID clashes.
Copying existing riders from 1 DB to the other just for the transfers you've made and the stat changes could be a little problematic as you would have to be checking manually to make sure everything lined up, otherwise you will end up deleting riders or getting duplicates if they have different ID's.
Also the riders might come out at a different strength after you have copied them if the stat matrix's are different. E.g. One might go up to 84 as a highest stat and the other only up to 81 or 82.

There is a cheeky way to copy certain files from one d/b to another. Using Lachi's Editor, open d/b A (being the one you want to copy from) and save. This will provide a folder relating to that d/b in the Data folder of Lachi's editor. Then open d/b B (being the one you want to save to) and save. Again, this will provide a folder relating to that d/b in the Data folder of Lachi's editor.
Close the editor.
Copy relevant files from d/b A to d/b B from their respective data folders and overwrite, make a copy first to be safe.
Re-open the editor and this time open d/b B from the drop down menu in Lachi's below start. This will use the files you just have overwritten in the Data folder. Then export to overwrite your old d/b.
Warning: Be careful which files you overwrite, DYN files seem to be ok, but other files may have an adverse affect on the d/b
ALWAYS save your work before editing |

I use the excel editor for copying files from 1 DB to another, because I can copy the table from 1 to a new Excel file and then work with both open at the same time.
You've just got to be careful about what you copy and adjust because tables can interlink, e.g. when copying races you'll need to copy the stages aswell, or when copying countries or regions you need to do both not just 1 to get them working. And in your case if you are copying riders you'll need to keep in mind that if the 2 DB's have teams in a different order then they could end up changing which team they are riding for.

Normally you'll have to wait for the beginning of the 2015, because the transfer season is all BUT finished
