So I had to re-install PCM after refreshing my computer. Obviously before playing it you are forced to download the latest patch. However, for me, when the download finishes, I get the following error message.
ShellExecuteEx failed; code 1203
The network path was either typed incorrectly, does not exist, or the network provider is not currently available. Please try retyping the path or contacting your web administrator.
Any help is very welcome, thanks

Try downloading the patches from PCM.Daily and installing them manually and let me know

Uhm, does it happen when you install from 1.0.0.0 to 1.4.0.0, right?

1.3.1.0
Also, just to be sure. Where do I put the patch when I download it from the site?

Oops, I'm still stuck on PCM 13.
You can put it anywhere you want, just select the right directory when it asks

I am pretty sure that the patch does not ask for a path or directory.
Anyway, I think there is a problem with the installation path of the game. Where did you install the game? What exactly does "refreshing my computer" mean? Have you uninstalled the game before installing it again? |

Refreshing the computer is something you do when it stops working for an undefined reason. You keep all of your files, but it automatically deletes all your programs - like PCM. So should I try re-installing the game?

Now I remember what "refreshing" is but I have no knowledge about what it really does to your computer. You could try to re-install one more time.
After installing, disconnect the internet and try to start the game without the patch first. |

A late thank you Lachi I've found a way around it - patch won't install, but if I click cancel when it starts downloading it will open the game
