Uran was 2nd in Borja TT...
Barguil and Yates worked for Degenkolb and Matthews in flat finishes, so they are both two of the best "sprint workers" in La Vuelta´14 |

In a normal team usually there's only a leader and 1 lead-out man.

Sorry if this sounds wierd, but what exactly is the point in this?
To me it just seems rather pointless. The "best" riders in the Vuelta is the Top9 finishers in GC, or the Top9 in rankings points earnings, or the winners of each jersey competition and then the next best gc riders until you have 9 total.
Best is an absolute term, just some slight variation on how it's calculated. But it wouldn't include Uran or Quintana for example because neither of them finished the race. Potentially they could have been Top3 GC, but you're not asking for potentials...

Climbers
C. Froome + F. Aru (Froome and Aru, because Aru has a great future, and Froome is nearly unbeatable in top form.)
Sprinter
J. Degenkolb (Degenkolb, because he was the best Sprinter, and he is good on the Cobbles and can survive hills, too)
Time Trialist
T. Martin (Tony because, he is the best TT-ist in the World)
Fighter
L.L. Sánchez (L.L. Sánchez, because he has earned his jersey, with very hard work, and i respect that.)
Workers
Mountain
P. Kennaugh + P. Deignan (They both did a magnificent job and i predict a great future for both of them.)
Sprint
F. Cancellara + C. Betancur (F. Cancellara, because he is so good, that he beats his own Sprinter. And Betancur, because he can block other sprinters perfectly after he made his leadout(if he is not dropped until then), because he is fat.
