Roubaix Lille Metropole (Paris-Nice 2035)
dominox
Sorry if you find any mistakes, because I'm not from England or USA Grin.

I tried to uploud some photos to general screenshots, but I don't know how to do it, so I decided to uploud this here. This is my team, Roubaix Lille Metropole (yes, I didn't change any of names, this is original version of the game without any changes) in year 2029(!). I'm playing with original database.

If you like to know some facts about history of my team:

- World Champion (2028, 2029)
- World Champion ITT (2022, 2024, 2025, 2026, 2028, 2029)
- Tour de France (won 27 stages, I ended Tour twice on second place and twice on fourth place, never won)
- Giro d'Italia (won 38 stages, winner in 2021, 2025, 2027, 2028, 2029)
- Vuelta Espana (won 40 stages, winner in 2022, 2023, 2025, 2026, 2028, 2029)
First PRO Tour races I have won is Tour de Pologne in 2017, and Classique de Plouay in 2016 & 2017.

If you would like to know any things of other races, actual database, and statistics of other riders (Pierre Roland won Tour de France 5 times in a row (2014-2018), you can post this here Grin. And photo of my team at the end. What do you things about this?

You should have posted this General Career Discussion, but it isn't really a problem Smile
Aren't there too few Frenchmen to be a French team?

Well, you have rights that in French Team should be some Frenchmen rider, but I don't look at country, I look at stats that riders can have.

I give you stats at the end of 2029 year. You can find out who's the best rider now, and what stats have the best riders.

To the first post, I have added first place at Giro and Vuelta in 2029 season. Still no chance to win Tour de France. This year, my leader Tuberosa ended at 8th place. Maybe my star "future Contador" Stocklasa will win Tour:
i58.tinypic.com/25i0ymd.jpg

Well, at the end I give you winners from Tour de France since 2009:

Year 2030 and season has ended, so I give you some fast results of this season without Grand Tours.

1st in Liege - Bastogne - Liege, GC GP in Pais Vasco, GC Tour of Australia, Maastricht - Valkenburg, GP San Sebastian
2nd - GC Protour du Beneloux, Classique in Ploauy, Classic Hamburg
3rd - GC Tour d'Helvetie & GC Tour De Romandie, GC Protour du Beneloux

Photo of my team at the start of year 2031:
i60.tinypic.com/negx1d.jpg

Stocklosa still has 4 star potential in hills and time trial.

And Vuelta & Giro former winners Grin. More diffirent than winners in Tour, more.
As you can see, Tuberosa won 10 Grand Tours in his career. Number of wins will not probably be higher, because his abilities are going slowly down. My future star, Stocklasa in his age 22, was already 3rd (2029) & 2nd (2030) in GC Vuelta, and in this year ended Tour de France on 4th place. Ah, and Atxabal won his 6th Tour de France in a row, sick guy ^^.

Quite interesting team you have, and your career for sure has been going on for a long time Smile I think the longest I ever reached was with Rabobank in 2032 Smile

That is absolutely sick. How do you keep motivation for that long? Shock My longest PCM career lasted 2/3 years or something like that.

Really nice team and career there, dominox. Keep us updated! Smile

Yeah, most of my careers finish before PN and TA. Pfft I think I had just 2 of them going over one year:
- Trek (story) on PCM13 which lasted about 1,5 year
- Sky on PCM12 which was the 2,5 year one

I am ashamed of my moviation. Embarassed

Well, as long as I have some kind of goal in my career, it is easy for me to keep up my motivation, but once I've reached all the goals I made and my team gets too good, my motivation tends to drop.

Everytime I start a career, I start from the bottom, so I have to fight the first years just to promote to the World Tour, and my team is also build up around talents, so there also goes many years with their development. So when my talents gets good enough to fight against the best riders, I can start reaching my goals Smile

You know, I've already had some problems with sponsors after, hmm I don't know, 3 or 4 seasons. Barely not being fired. When you play for that long you need to win superprestige classicification as a team. Well, Roubaix has also good potential riders in 2009 season. Passeron that can have sprints for about 78, and two cobblestones riders with another 78 or even 80. Michael Larpe (if I remember correctly database) will be the best in mountain, max. 74. All you have to do later is sign another riders. I usually play like create a team like now. Mountains and hills are on first place. One or two sprints riders. No one cobblestones, because the are only for about 10 races (end of march to start of may). Imo for the rest season they are useless. Also special calendar. Riders with average more than 70 have usually max. 60 race days.

Year 2031 and season has ended, so I give you some fast results of this season without Grand Tours. That wasn't a great season.

1st - Liege - Bastogne - Liege, Classique in Ploauy, Gran Premio di Lombardia
2nd - GC Tour of Australia, Classique in Ploauy
3rd - GC GP in Pais Vasco, La Fleche Wallonie

Photo of my team. This is the moment, when I need 2 seasons to rebuild my team after 4, 5 seasons of stagnation:
i57.tinypic.com/wsr6fr.jpg

And some facts.
Well, this is official. Willi Tuberosa with his statistics going down and last season in Roubaix, was able to win Giro in 2031 season. This is his 11 won Grand Tour in career.

I have also some great young riders with very good potential. Except Stocklasa, which is 23 years old, still looks very good with star potential. He will be a monster:
i58.tinypic.com/34xj9n8.jpg

A French one, Patrice Reuzeau. I didn't expect that good stats from him when I hired him:
i59.tinypic.com/2iqbi80.jpg

And an Italian one, Gianmaria Incrivaglia. With that potential, he will be the best sprinter in database:
i58.tinypic.com/30ic8bc.jpg

Newly sign Guido Tropea:
i58.tinypic.com/35b9mc0.jpg

At the end, official results for Giro, Tour and Vuelta in 2031 season.

Giro d'Italia
i59.tinypic.com/5ysokw.jpg

Tour de France - that was bad Tour for me. I had a hope that Stocklasa will fight for good place, but he injured himself at 7th stage in Dauphine... And 7th Tour de France in a row won by Atxabal...
i61.tinypic.com/nbvr4i.jpg

Vuelta Espana - But Stocklasa won Vuelta. His first Tour in career.
i60.tinypic.com/eb8rgx.jpg

And World Championships result
i62.tinypic.com/21kxf60.jpg

So, year 2032 is coming! Grin

Yes, I play some stages, only in GT if I need Grin. (usually ITT and some hills stages)

I'm in a middle of year 2032 so still some races left to go. I only start Tour so still some staff left to do. I decided to inform you about first half of the season, so far:

1st - GC Dauphine Libere, GC Tour d'Helvetie, Maastricht - Valkenburg
2nd - GC GP in Pais Vasco, La Fleche Wallonie
3rd - ---

Giro d'Italia results
i59.tinypic.com/309t18o.jpg

This year Tour will be again very hard. Last year Stocklasa injured himself at 7th stage in Dauphine. Now he did it again... Not in Libere, in his own country only 6 days before Tour start... Bad luck. French one Reuzeau will be a leader of my team, but I need to play some hilly stages, and ITT because he's not good enough in hills, and TT is the best way to earn some time. Especially when there are only 4 mountain stages (?), 3 hilly stages, 2 ITT time trial and 1 TTT. Yes, other 11 stages are flat Grin. Don't know if Atxabal will win his 8th Tour in a row, because his stats are going down, but still he's a monster:

i57.tinypic.com/6p874w.jpg

Tomorrow more news. Probably will finish 2032 season Grin.

dominox
Hi. Another season has ended. My team is getting more power than I expected. Two 24 years old great guys, and another great sprinter in the future.

Season PRO Tour results:
1st - GC Dauphine Libere, GC Tour d'Helvetie, Maastricht - Valkenburg, GC Tour de Pologne, Classique de Plouay
2nd - GC GP in Pais Vasco, La Fleche Wallonie
3rd - GP San Sebastian, GC Tour de Pologne, GC Protour du Beneloux

Tour de France results - Wasn't a bad at all. Won few stages, and the time I lost wasn't very big. Two photos of one hilly stage which Reuzeau won.
i61.tinypic.com/4zt24g.jpg

i61.tinypic.com/2nb6gpk.jpg

i62.tinypic.com/2m5atfc.jpg

Vuelta Espana results - Stocklasa couldn't win, because he back after injury only two weeks before race start. And when you have 3 hard mountain stages at the start and 70 pts condition, you lost a lot of time. But second place isn't very bad at all Grin.
i57.tinypic.com/k1yomh.jpg

Jean-Charles Stocklasa:

That was long season. My classics rider Assetta was losing his stats, so i finally hired another great young rider, only 24 years old with already 85 in hills. Tried to hired him 2 seasons ago (then he have had about 80 hills if I remember correctly only being 22 years old), but my salary limit don't give me a opportunity to do it. Now with some problems I did it. Now I have my team liders for about next 5 seasons without any changes. Great 24 years old sprinter, 2 great Grand Tour riders being 26 years old, and now this. Photo of my team and Maligne (this is strange, from being a French Team, I'm slowly becoming Italy Team xD):
i58.tinypic.com/2w4ma69.jpg

Some results from Grand Tours:
i59.tinypic.com/2lmqusp.jpg
i58.tinypic.com/2s63i3l.jpg
i58.tinypic.com/mb0prd.jpg

I know that time difference between first and second is just unnormal, but when you have 83 Mt, 85 TT & 80 Hills, and other riders don't even have ONE 80 in their stats, you just have to win with big time difference Grin.

And numbers of stage wins in Grand Tours:
Giro d'Italia - 63 stages
Tour de France - 43 stages
Vuelta Espana - 81 stages

World Championships ITT:

World Championships:

i61.tinypic.com/2iruavq.jpg
i61.tinypic.com/zlswwm.jpg

At the end I have a little question. What would you like to see in next season? I mean some photos from some races or anything else?

dominox
Hi, I decided to uploud also some results from other PRO Tour stage races. Ah, because my PC is old one, and almost everything I should change, you will not see any fans or something like this, sorry.

Welke winning in last stage (Tour of Australia) after 3 persons sprint train:

General Classification:
i57.tinypic.com/zyhb2x.jpg

And PRO Tour GC:
i59.tinypic.com/2vrszf4.jpg

If would you like to see some other races... By 100% I will uploud some photos from Paris-Nice, GP Van Vlaanderen, Gent-Welvegen, Paris-Roubaix (because of my Italian sprinter), 3 Grand Tours, Dauphine-Libere or Tour d'Helvetie, maybe Romandie, and one from August (Tour de Pologne or Protour du Beneloux). Or if you want to see other races, write which one Grin.

PARIS-NICE 2035

So, here comes some news from Paris-Nice 2035. First hard stage was stage 4. In a breakaway we had for example former 8 time Tour de France winner, closely going to end his career Mark Atxabal; 4th in a photo.
i59.tinypic.com/28k1v92.jpg

Just before a downhill, he decided to attack. That didn't gave to him a opportunity to win because just after he attack, the rest of a breakaway catched him.
i57.tinypic.com/5es3li.jpg

And some photos from the most important moments:
i59.tinypic.com/1zou9tj.jpg
i60.tinypic.com/5wiftf.jpg
i60.tinypic.com/zuo0zs.jpg
i57.tinypic.com/95qv13.jpg

7 stage also has been very important. Last stage before final mountain ITT.
i61.tinypic.com/wrdgmx.jpg

The most important moments in photos. Last rider from breakaway.
i61.tinypic.com/33m4y6b.jpg

Here comes the first attacks.
i60.tinypic.com/30i9u2f.jpg

Mountain for a finish was a "wall". Only 5.6 km, but average slope was 8.0%. 5km to go, Maligne attacks, and first contrattacks comes only from 2,5 km to go.
i58.tinypic.com/30kx3lw.jpg
i58.tinypic.com/2ywd2q1.jpg

Henri crossed the line first.
i59.tinypic.com/29575p4.jpg
i57.tinypic.com/2sbwspv.jpg

Maligne after ITT won Paris-Nice 2015. 2 minutes that he won at stage 7 guaranteed him a victory in GC. And GC after ITT:
i60.tinypic.com/2vwb3gl.jpg

PRO Tour GC: (meanwhile is also Tirreno-Adriatico)
i59.tinypic.com/2aklk74.jpg

Next step is Milan-San Remo.

Are you still playing? Smile

dominox
Oh, yes. I'm still playing, but for long time I just simply didn't want to xD. But if someone still want to read something like this or something like this but new from beginning... I will update this Grin.

And one photo after break... Team in middle of 2036 year Pfft.
