Simulating to specific date

So in earlier pcms in career mode you could simulate to a specific date, but I can't seem to do it in this version because of the new layout.
Can anyone confirm that this is not possible?

Top right hand corner of the screen, just to the left of the advance button, and scroll around with your mouse until a list of events and corresponding dates popup, with a much smaller arrow next to them. I believe clicking on this will simulate to the corresponding event listed next to it.

Yeah I alredy knew this, but I can't seem to simulate like a month forward, that's the issue Pfft

OK. I see what you are talking about now.

It seems the only three options are to simulate one day, simulate to an upcoming event, or to simulate the entire season.

By the way. What was the advantage of simulating a month? Did the simulation go more quickly? It does seem to me that simulation is a bit sluggish the way it stands currently.

Yeah you could simulate to the exact date that you wanted which was really handy
