For our new series "Cycling Interviews" we might have the chance to ask Dan Martin some questions.
So you have 1 week (until next Friday) to ask questions we will pick the best ones out, as every single question would be simply too much, and send them back.

What are your opinions on drains manholes etc other road furniture in races which have been involved in you crashing out of the last 2 grand tours and even causing Alberto to crash in this years Tour de France
Did you expect the Vuelta to have so much competiton this year with many big names going to it Rodriguez, Quintana, Froome?, and yourself?
@Interview Team thanks for getting Nico and Dan for interviews
Spoiler Deignan and Bennett next |

After a sad end to your hopes for the Giro so soon into the race, do you plan on riding the Vuelta to let out your frustrations ? |

It's said that bad years are part of each rider's development; what have you learned so far in this season 2014, especially in regards to your stunning 2013 season? Do you rate 2014 as a disappointment so far and maybe in what way will it make you stronger in the end?
With Vuelta and Ponferrada being presumably two of your big remaining season goals, do you prepare for racing in Spain and especially on those spanish roads, and if so, how?
Love your instinct for racing Liege-Bastogne-Liege. Looking at the route, what's your favourite climb of it?
You've recently ridden the Österreich Rundfahrt, how do you rate the Kitzbühler Horn in comparison to other climbs?
(Same question as to Nico) How is it to ride with your cousin Nicholas Roche in the peloton, is he just a normal rider in the race for you or will there be a chance of Schleck-type attacks in the future?
How do you plan on developing as a rider, will you aim stronger towards Grand Tours in the future or will the Ardennes remain as your big season target? Also, what do you think it willtake for you to crack Top 10 in a Grand Tour?

You didn't have any significant success so far regarding the General Classification of Grand Tours. Do you think it was matter of luck or did you lack in some department that didn't allow you to succeed? Are you looking forward to contest for GC in the future?
Following the mechanical problem near the finish. you were positioned quite far back at the start of the final climb in La Fleche Wallone in 2013. Do you believe you could've won that race if your position was better a few hundred meters to go?
You've had much success in the Tour of Poland race. What's your favourite memory connected with this country?
Garmin team is known for going to the races with multiple cards to play. Do you believe the best apporach is to have several potential leaders in the team for given race that don't sacrifice their GC chances in order to help their team-mate early and see how things will pan out, or maybe to focus around one leader and give him the best possible support from the beginning?

Holy shit. fuckity fuckity fuck fucking YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The last few GT's the team's GC leader, twice being you, has been forced to abandon. Is there an anxiety now about making it to the finish.
You were scheduled to ride the Vuelta, but since so many people abandoned the Tour, all the runoff is now going to the Vuelta. Do you think this is fair to people who planned their season around the Vuelta?
Please also let him now that his biggest fan is an American on this website.

Why is the deadline for questions that short, then? |
