With the steam sale coming to an end and PCM 13 on offer for just £3.74, I was thinking about buying it (PCM14 is £30).
I was just wondering if PCM13 was worth buying or if it was worth paying the extra money to get PCM14? Do all the online modes in PCM13 still work or are they turned off now?
I have had a bit of a read around on here and noticed that there seems to be quite a few bugs on PCM14 currently which made me hesitate about buying it.
Another thing that may influence my decision is whether or not PCM Daily's PCM14 db contains NFTO Pro Cycling, could someone confirm this please.
I agree with Jesleyh - PCM13 is better game at this moment, but it's almost certain that PCM14 will become better once it gets fully patched. At the end, that's what happened with last version and it's quite decent game right now!
PCM13 still has alot of online players, yes. 2 days ago, I created a room for fun expecting just my friend to get in, while 10 guys got in, in like 5 minutes. So yeah, there's less players in PCM13, but there still are some.
However, if I were you, I'd wait for all PCM14 patches and decide then.

That is good to know about online although I might not play it much (I had PCM11 and barely touched it).
I was planning on waiting but the steam sale ends on the 30th and it will be £15 then.

I am leaning towards PCM13 now as I am only a casual cycling fan so it won't be the main game I play and the changes in PCM14 don't seem huge.
Just to check I assume that PCM14 jerseys/equipment will work on PCM13 but stages/dbs won't?
Also if I make stages on PCM13 and later get PCM14 I assume they will work in PCM14 if I just open them then save them in the editor like in previous years?

PCM14 jerseys & equipment works with PCM13, yes. DBs won't work (they'll need a convertion to work well, which is kinda complicated process) and I am not sure about stages, but I heard that they're compatible (I'm big noob when it comes to stage-creating and everything connected to them).

I will buy the game after the steam sale updates in 45 minutes (just in case they discount PCM14 although that is very unlikely).
For £3.74 you cant go wrong with PCM 13, I enjoy it a lot and I would wait a bit until I get PCM 14 as it isn't fully patched and secondly PCM 13 is still very good IMO

Yeah I decided it was the better option so have bought it.
