I play TE basically from 2009 version (used to play 11 alot) and on recommendation of Alakagom I started playing the newest 2013 version. The title says what it's all about but there's a little description below about the game.
Created by tennis fans, which are regular ranked players, Tennis Elbow 2013 is a tennis game with a fun, realistic gameplay.
Tennis Elbow is the only game that will give you such an impression to be on the court, and will make you feel the emotions of the match with such realism : you will be conquered by the ultra-realistic ball trajectories, the artificial intelligence replicating the players' behaviour with precision, and the complete range of shots and game situations.
Its intuitive gameplay will let you easily control the player and the ball, and even if you're not a tennis fan, you will have a lot of pleasure and fun to run and strike balls all around the court, fighting in all games !
And last but not least, with its online mode you could play against other real human players in fantastic online tennis matches !
This game can't be compared to Virtua Tennis or any other tennis game, at all. Okay, graphically - it's nothing special, but simulation part and gameplay is almost perfect. Basically every movement, every hit, everything is done perfectly and it's as realistic as one little game like this can get.
It's fully editable and just as PCM, it's not the same game with and without patches. I recommend Sam's patch (which tsmoha worked on, or at least produced some 2D courts for it!). You can find alot of interesting stuff on forum, so be sure to register on it.
Yay, credits! I can only agree, it's a great game and i really enjoyed those times playing and modding this one.would be cool to see this getting more support, it's worth it!
Yup, the movement of players could've been done a little bit better, but the game is pretty small (around 50mbs without any add-ons and patches!) and there are only few guys working on it, basically without any budget.
It clearly is the best game available for PC. I'll once again repeat, demo can't be compared to the feeling you get with hundred of additional courts and hundred(s) additional, real players + alot of new animations and stuff.
I'm really amazed at the realism of the motions of the players though

Is anyone on this forum, besides me and Polish Gilbert (read as Alakagom) owning this game? It would be fun to play online games against some of you, especially because it's getting boring to play (beat) Alak all the time!

I really hope that Polish Gilbert will use his gap year to actually practice some TE, as if it stays this way, I am going to get bored of this game soon. Defence ftw!
Ok, I downloaded all 3 demo versions, 04, 06 and 13, and apparently you can play Online even in the demo. So if anyone wants to play, tell me.
Edit: Game seems fun so far, but the Ai is too easy to play against. I have to a make a decision of whether to buy it or not.

RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy
The demo experience is nowhere near the one you get when you install additional career patches and ITST (online) patch and get tons of new animations, courts, realistic players etc, etc - just like an extreme version of PCM and its DBs. And AI can be really, really, really hard to beat if you set it on Master 10 or generally on Master (perhaps Pro for someone, as well). Definitely worth a buy (if I say it, then it definitely is ).
