Thanks for doing this! 
I am looking forward to the road races,as i never cared about track part of the PCM games.
I have two questions.
1. What type of the stage the road race will be? Because fair would be like three stages for every round (flat/hilly/mountain).
2.Why use official DB which will lead to not evenly strong teams, why not use ladder DB instead?

1) Each Group will play 2 different stages, as yet undecided.
2) I meant championship Official DB, which is a ladder database. Will make that more clear

Great initiative and it was definitively something we were lacking here on Daily, so congrats to TMM the Admin I really hope it has a lot of people playing. |

I'm asking for Available Times as part of the sign-up. This will be used to help guide the groups and play times in an attempt to maximize non-european participation. I know how many of you guys live in the Americas or Oceania

Also, is this supposed to be PCM.daily Championship? Just like every other community has their own "NC" (community) championships? Not because of my chances to win, not because anything else, but I see alot of guys with 1-5 posts signing up. Is it supposed to be that way? All of these guys are mostly from PCMFocus and PCMFrance and they already played their sites championships and WC. No offense, but these guys just wants to play a bit more online and to get some prizes, as they're clearly the best.
Not having anything against any of you, but I think this should stay PCM.daily Championship. Some new criterias (I have few to suggest) are must, in my opinion.

I agree admir, I think maybe there should be a post limit or you have to be active a certain amount of the time, and users here would know if someone should be allowed

I have to agree with that. There are 95k members of this site, but tons of them never come on. I would hate to have all the winners be guys that don't really represent our community. After all, that's what this is supposed to be.

Time of joining definitely shouldn't be a criteria, as there are guys (looking at Code, Shonak and few others) that joined about a year ago or even later and are great members of this community.
However, post count is what was on top of my mind. It's a bit complicated, as everyone can spam defined amount in more than a week, but it can be effective.

@BBL - Championships/Competitve play has been around before you joined the site
@Admir/Jsea/BBL - It's something hard to get right. Minimum Requirements i found hard to balance without excluding some quiet or new members. Equally i have no idea how many people will sign up and i'd happily have some of these Focus or France members around to fill out the groups. If it does get really filled up with "normal" PCM.Daily members then more restrictions can be added in. It's going to be a very fluid and experimental championship as i figure things out

The format isn't set in stone, so we can still apply restrictions on who is eligible. We needed the signup to go up early as it is hard to predict numbers, but that doesnt mean anything is finalised yet.
It's perhaps a question of whether this is a 'PCM.daily Cup' which is open to all, or a 'PCM.daily Championships' which should rightfully be limited to active members of the forum. And if we wanted a 'PCM.daily Cup' then maybe there is a better time to schedule it than right after the WC.

Just sharing my thoughts/views but I dont think I'd have much interest in participating unless those taking part are actually active members of this community.
I recall the past events where they were entirely or almost entirely Daily members and its nice to be able to talk to everyone, knowing what they are like (as far as you can know someone for a forum). A bunch of us were using Skype and it makes the experience a lot more fun when you know the people you are playing with, because you can joke around a bit. I know a bunch of guys use Skype now, so possibly the same thing could happen this time round.
It doesn't have to be 100% active Daily members, but if 75% of the participants had to be active Daily members or something that would be good. I dont want to be playing with 10 random people and 1 other person that I know, thats the bottom line.
