Hello, the new PCM14 isn't far any more and like last year there will be probably a closed beta at one point.
As a member of the testing team I can tell you it's really hard to get everything which is bugged in that short period. First of all, you have test the new improvements of the game. Some of these will be adjusted or even developed while we're testing the game. So we have to test some things over and over again till Cyanide likes the result. To make it short, there isn't enough time to get all flaws out of the game, even more with old bugs from the previous game still in place. And you can't keep everything in mind...
Here's my suggestion:
We collect here the known bugs of PCM13. They can reach from career play, 3D mode or whatsoever. When the game is later going to be tested, the testers have just to take a look into that thread and see all known bugs. This should help getting the old bugs out of the new game if they are even still there.
How is this going to work:
You'll post them and I will add them into post #1. I'll give you an example of how you could post them.
Example:
Career: Noteworthy results:
I had won Tour Down Under with a guy who also won the mountain and youth classification and even get a stage win, too. None reaction from the sponsor, not even a show up in the "noteworthy results".
--> The system is about trust and confidence. The more you win or good results you get, the more you should benefit. It can't be true that you win races and the sponsors won't notice.
3D: Fetch water bottles system:
If a rider gets dehydrated he's forced to get back to the team car. But he doesn't suffer from it, besides loosing a good position at the front and probably a few points for getting back to the front.
--> If a rider gets dehydrated we should see an effect on the green/yellow or red bar.
3D: AI: AI riders select the wrong riders as captain. Picking Costa instead of Quintana and things like that. The captain is always protected incredibly well.
3D: PROTECT: Rider protection does not help unless the effort dot is used by the rider being protected. In fact, your captain/protected rider commonly has a higher heart rate comparatively, making the protect command pointless.

When did that appear? In Stage race or single stage mode? Was Costa better placed than Quintana at that moment?
I'm asking because we would have to reproduce the bug to look if its still there. On this I need a more input, because I wasn't aware of that one.

I disagree
I always use protect on a leader for the classics, and you'll see an influence on them (visually higher green bar) come the latter part of the race
and no, all i'm doing is sitting them toward the front of the peloton on "hold position"
Heck, test it
Ride roubaix with OPQS and don't protect Boonen, and then run it again and do
there's a noticeable difference come the final 50km
I do believe that it doesn't have much of an effect sub 200km, but for the monuments, then it's a definate help
Similar to NTTHRASH- At a single Giro stage(first of last year), Lotto(with riders from my manual starters list) could have had Veelers, Demare or Chicchi sprint, but chose Gerrans instead. Stat glitch? What's more, he beat Degenkolb, Kittel and co to win the stage.
