Stats
Average System
It has been confirmed by many that Resistance stat has no effect in PCM13. As a result, we have changed the AVG system used in the game. This has also involved a little more emphasis being placed on the best stat of a rider.
It is now calculated by:
Spoiler 2.5 * Max(Mo, Hl, TT, Cb - 2, Sp - 9)
+
1 * Next Best (Fl, Mo, Hl, TT, St, Rc, Cb - 2, Sp - 9, Ac)
+
1 * Next Best (Fl, Mo, Hl, TT, St, Rc, Cb - 2, Sp - 9, Ac)
+
1 * Next Best (Fl, Mo, Hl, TT, St, Rc, Cb - 2, Sp - 9, Ac)
+
0.5 * Next Best (Fl, Mo, Hl, TT, St, Rc, Cb - 2, Sp - 9, Ac)
Divided by 6.
The database has been updated with this change: https://www.dropbox.com/s/9wsa7lnoatq...GameDB.xls
Stat Increases
Increases based on gaining an experience level remain the same. For new managers: these increases are added at the end of the season. The stat gains file also shows the decreases that riders will receive at the end of the season.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/o0xjy9gix48...tgains.xls
Riders remain limited to 1 level increase per season, with the exception of going from Level 1 to Level 3.
XP
Stat increases are earnt by gaining XP. C2HC races have been added this season, and will receive the same XP as C1 races.
XP | Level 1 | Level 2 | Level 3 | Level 4 | GT | 0 | 0 | 1 | 2 | M | 0 | 0 | 1 | 2 | PT | 0 | 1 | 2 | 1 | HC | 1 | 2.5 | 1.5 | 0.5 | C1/C2HC | 2 | 2 | 1 | 0 | C2 | 3 | 1.5 | 1 | 0 |
As a reminder, the Tour de l'Avenir offers a flat rate of 20 xp to all who ride. Eligible riders are born in September 1991 or later. This XP is the first XP to be added to a rider. The rest of the XP gained is then added in an optimum fashion to maximise the new value for a rider.
Rankings
The Points Scales file has been updated with the addition of C2HC races. They are just below the value of C1 races.

C2 Eligibility
For PCT riders to ride CT races, they must fit the following criteria:
- Average is less than 72 (72.00 is too high)
- Mo/Hl/TT/Cb/Sp stat is no higher than 77
Note: Level 1, 2 and 3 riders may ride C2 if they have an AVG above 72 - but not if their best stat is higher than 77.

Huhu, Polivoda is C2 eligible for me... Expect me to train lvl 1 guys in C2 races, with the intention the win them too
Just 1 question which bothers me slightly: Are riders with 70AVG and 82 Fighter (Like Cunha) eligable for the C2? I don't really count the fighter stat as a stat on which riders should get rejected. Same with Downhill...

L'Avenir doesn't use rider race days, right?

Is the rule with 10 less than avg same as last year? According to the file it's just 100k for each, but last year it was 100k, 125k, 150k and max 3 increases

I haven't mentioned anything about training yet. Had forgotten there was a sheet on it in the file.

I know it's maybe a little bit early to ask that, but: Will there be any changes with loan cap?

Great to see the date for Avenir again.
This means Krieger with 77 sprint can start and Olivier can start this year with 74 mountain and still next year with 77. |

Looking at Avenir, my current team is (before renewals/transfers):
Zabel
Zepuntke
Taubel
Haugard
Predatsch
I'll be dissapointed if I can't get any stage wins with that squad, just need a climber for this...

I can only hope that Haugard will finish Avenir without a stage win. It should be great battle between him and Zmorka (and few others of course). My two super talents should be eligible for two more Avenirs (2014+2015), so i hope for great results too in the future.

So much easier to get a rider from Level 1-->3 in PCT as apprised to CT. I'll be looking to take on quite a few young Africans this year. I feel like I'm obliged to up develop African riders (of which there is a lot of talent, but little development) - being one of only 3 teams from the continent.
I know it isn't logical to spend 3 seasons developing a rider, but I just find it so immensely satisfying developing young riders

And more young riders means I can have my own L'Avenir team
Still pissed that Meintjes is on 2.99

It is logical in one way, as it over time gives you cheaper riders (non free agent wage). Though it is expensive the first season(s) when the riders suck and their wage is high

But surely it's easier to just spend money on riders who are very good now instead of waiting 3 years of real life waiting for it? I still so it anyway

Sonnery Looks like no C2 for us as we won't be at all competitive. Can understand the reasoning though |

Can't wait to get home from the office this evening to start the next round of planning. These changes are most welcome, but do mean (or at least create an excuse ), to start from scratch again!
Particularly like and welcome that C2HC xp gains are the same as C1. Creates much less need to devote so many race days for CT teams to C1 just to develop riders. Will now onlybe very seledtively attending C1 I think.
