Trek Factory Racing is a professional road bicycle racing team licensed in the USA. Formerly Radioshack-Nissan, in 2014, Trek will take over the ownership of the team and its ProTeam License.
The team has an all-around oriented squad, with some big names in it. Some old guns, some of the biggest talents in the cycling world - really interesting squad.
As one of currently most popular and strongest riders in the world, Fabian Cancellara is leading this squad. Of course, he's not the only leader of the squad. Depending on terrain and field, the team has 3 leaders in each one of it.

There's just no words that can describe this guy. So powerful, so successful but besides all of that, great human. Fabian won pretty much everything he wanted to win last season and he'll have tough job to defend that. We're sure he can own spring classics once again.
[img-l]https://i.imgur.com/LWQtJBd.png[/img-l][img-l]https://www.dodaj.rs/f/3q/lV/OYtl6Xo/blankspace.png[/img-l] Andy Schleck (10th June, 1985)
Andy was of most promising rider in the cycling world, but unfortunately he had a really bad crash in Dauphine, few years ago and he's still recovering. We still believe Andy can reach his past level and become one of best cyclists in the world. Form is temporary class is permanent.
[img-l]https://i.imgur.com/QctiWSt.png[/img-l][img-l]https://www.dodaj.rs/f/3q/lV/OYtl6Xo/blankspace.png[/img-l] Giacomo Nizollo (30th January, 1989)
Surely one of the most promising sprinters currently and probably the best Italian sprinter at the moment. Giacomo and Danny van Poppel are just the future of Trek's sprint and we're sure both of them, Giacomo especially can get some really good results in this and next few years.

Sometimes I wonder whether you should actually let the story go to page 10 before you spend the time to make those awesome graphical stuff in the first posts
baseballlover312, 06-03-14 : "Nuke Moscow...Don't worry Russia, we've got plenty of love to go around your cities"
Sarah Palin, 08-03-14 (CPAC, on Russian aggression) : "The only thing that stops a bad guy with a nuke is a good guy with a nuke"
Big thanks to jdog for making this AMAZING userbar!

Thanks everyone. I really hope i can keep this going at least a bit longer than some of my previous attempts. Also, calendar (3rd post) is updated.
547984 - All of these "awesome graphics" took me like 10 minutes max. , so i guess it's still harder to get over 10 pages than to do them. At least for me.

Aand here we are, just few hours before first official races of the season, 2 NCs on the Australian continent, Australia and New Zealand NC. We have a guys for both of these competitions and that's the reason why we're here , writing this blog. So, nothing to wait for, let's start with presentation.
Australia ITT NC
9th January, 2014
The Australia ITT NC this year will be one of most interesting ITT NC routes. It actually has a quite long, but not that steep hill, somewhere at the middle of the route, which will surely decide the winner. Some of the favourites for this race are: R. Porte, C. Evans, R. Dennis...
Our only guy here is newcomer in our team, Calvin Watson and to be honest, expectations are not high, since this surely isn't one of his favourites disciplines.
New Zealand ITT NC
11th January, 2014
Unlike the Australia ITT NC, the New Zealand one is pan flat, without any climbs or hills on its terrain. 2 of our guys are from this exotic country and their names are H. Roulston and J. Sergent. J. Sergent is top favourite for this one and we hope he can achieve the win there. Besides him, some of main favourites for a win are J. Bauer, S. Bewley.
These 2 should be very interesting to follow, so stay tuned for the report. First race is about to start, so be prepared.
See ya soon, DS of Trek FR

The first race is Australia ITT NC and it's about to start. Calvin is in last 10 on the start schedule, so we'll have to wait for his results a bit.
Australia ITT NC
9th January, 2014
Right at the start, one of top favourites for a podium and maybe even a win, Michael Rogers appeared. His time was clearly the best at all checkpoints, but he made huge progress on the hill and that was noticable.
After Rodgers, the next a bit better guy was Luke Durbridge. As one of best Orica's time trialists, his mission was to get the noticable result. It never looked like that in the race. On the first checkpoint he got pretty big gap and it was only get bigger and bigger later. Bad day for him.
After few unimportant riders, C. Evans was the next favourite to start. As good climber and time trialist, this route could suit him perfectly. Cadel was really strong, but at the end, he finished 10 seconds behind Rogers. Michael was still on top!
Calvin is next one. He's really stressed right now since this is his first race in colours of Trek racing and he's the our only guy. Well, that left the mark on the final results, since he finished as 40th.
Only 2 riders left - Richie Porte and Rohan Dennis, two probably biggest favourites for getting the national jersey ,this year. Richi was first one to start. Great position on bike was indicating that he's going to get really good result there. And he did, he finished 1'05" in front of Rogers. What a show of strenght!
R. Dennis was the last one on start. Can this youngster beat the time of R. Porte? He looked calm all the time and his tactic was getting the speed on flat part, since he have no chances on hill against all of these climbers. It looked all good and he had an advantage until the 2nd checkpoint where he had the same time as Richie.
Now, it looked like he's slightly losing the energy. And it was like that. At the end, Dennis finished as 2nd, 18th seconds behind the Richie.

2 days later, it was time for New Zealand ITT NC. Our hopes are high and we think our guys can meet the expectations.
New Zealand ITT NC
11th January, 2014
Not many riders on startlist, really. After few of them , our first rider H. Roulston started. He was actually pretty good, since he set best provisional time.
Sam Bewley was first one of 3 favourites to start. Bewley looked good at the first part of the race, but something strage happened then. He just started losing perfect bike position, started accelerating and slowing down which leaded to a bit worse result than expected.
Jack Bauer was the next one. In an interview before the race, he said that he's aiming for the win here, so we kept an eye on him. Nothing so impressive, since he even finished few seconds behind Bewley.
And our rider, Jesse Sergent was the last one to start. He looked absolutely perfect before , on and after the race which was big indication on what we're seeing. He got the win with about half a minute of advantage and made us proud.
It's time to celebrate! Here's the photo of Jesse on the podium, chatting with these beautiful podium girls, next to him.
