1.) route is bad
2.) there is no start line

I think it has to do with the route is bad error but I don't know how to fix it. if anyone can help it will be greatly appreciated

You actually need to place the start and finish line, 2km from the end of the road.

Here is a wonderful guide (originally a PM to me) written by NTTHRASH -> https://pcmdaily.c...p?tipid=80

I would like to explain more but I can't be bothered to open the faulty stage editor Pfft

There is a problem on the road or the route.

You may have made some bad road crossing, probably.

In any case, delete the route and create it again. If the problem is still there, check the road intersections. Surely, you have a bad connection between roads in any roadpoint of the route.

Route being bad is generally caused by an intersection on your route you have glossed over, or another issue. Either way, do what Jseadog says, where you go to check stage, instead remove route, then redo, watching for any interesectons, you need to click on them too.
For more information check the tips section, there is one by NTTHRASH, and one by me. I believe both cover this.

thx guys I redid the route with fixed intersections and it didn't give me "the route is bad"
