Progress
This is both for managers and custom riders, it works the same.
For the first progress round, I’m going to keep it simple. To raise a stat by 1, you need to spend the number of points of the stat you’re going to end up with. So to get a stat from 72 to 73, you will need to spend 73 points.
There is one additional rule though. To prevent any more unbalanced riders from appearing, you can’t go over 77 for this round. 76 to 77 is ok, but no higher. This goes for both custom and real riders.
Furthermore, age comes into play. The older your rider is, the less valuable your points will become, according to the following table:
18=100%
19=90%
20=82%
21=75%
22=70%
23=68%
24-30=65%
30-35=50%
No progress possible over 35
To simplify things, age is calculated on 01/01/2013 (all riders born the same year have the same age).
Standard math rules apply when calculating (74,499=74 and 74,500=75).
Please use the following example to progress riders:
Team Name: Lierse - Pizza Ullo
Rider Name: Lucas Gonzalez
Points spend: 200 x 70% (22)= 140 points
Stats upgraded:
Flat 75=>76
Spr 63=>64
(So now I have spent 200 points to make 2 stats go up by 1)
Custom riders can also get a "free" update, provided they post it along with the rest. This will hopefully make resistance a less important factor. You can still upgrade resistance on top of this for the normal price.
18 year old: 67
19 year old: 68
20 year old: 69
21 year old: 71
22 year old: 72
23 year old: 73
You can use your points on multiple riders if you’re a manager. All points not spent will be lost. Now I have the long job to look over all the HQ’s again to grade managers and riders.
And oh yes, since I’m totally evil and like giving punishments, any mistake will result in a (small) punishment! So ask questions until everything is perfectly clear

So the first surprise..
For these Continental Championships, we'll have a special guest reporter to cover these races. You know him from "A Tale of Two", "A Day in the Life" and many more, here's Ian Butler!

The first thing I want you to do:
Post your line ups of the Continental Championships here (no need for secrecy). Remember these don't count for race days. They will be for managed teams only, unless the low number of signups requires additional, very weak teams. For the time trials, you can select up to 4 riders, for the road race up to 9.
As mentioned before, the course will be that of the 2012 World Championships in Valkenburg. The 3 races will be Europe, America (both north and south) and Aufrazia (Australia+Africa+Azia).
Please use the following form and add nation flags:
