Your Favourite Game of 2013

So guys, we're almost at the end of 2013.
The major games are released, with some big titles this year.
I'd like to know what your favourite game was this year!
For me, I think it is PCM13 actually.
I've played a lot of GTA V, but it wasn't keeping me satisfied for that long.
Also played Call Of Duty Ghosts and Battlefield 4, which are both fun but they started to get boring way too fast.
I still have to pick up Football Manager 14 and Assassin's Creed Black Flag, but overall I've put most my hours in playing PCM13 this year.
So my #1 game this year is Pro Cycling Manager 2013

Best Game of the Year:- Outlast
Horror games have been struggling for a number of years (baring some obvious exceptions like Amnesia). Outlast is just incredible from start to finish. It is a demonstration of everything that makes a game scary.
The art style is epic, dank but not dark, and the video camera effects are played to perfection. The graphics, at times, leave a little to be desired but you don't notice because you're too bust running!
Come across an enemy, just run! don't look back just run and run and hide... If you look back you die. Hesitate, you die. Fight, you die. Nothing creates fear in quite the same way.
Just the scariest f*cking game i've played all year, probably ever. Nothing psychological and overbearing like Amnesia, just straight up mental scares and fear that runs deep.
Your character starts breathing heavily after running and hyperventilates when scared... You're in a locker having been chased by something down a number of corridors. The camcorder is out of batteries leaving you in blackness. Echoing footsteps bounce of the walls around. You are alone, just yourself, your breathing. If it finds you, you will die scared and alone. No-one will know. No-one will ever find you. Hope fades away as the figure passes through the doorway. It stalks over towards the lockers... a mutilated arm stretches towards the metal... and .... and.....

I only have two 2013 titles: Pokemon X + Fire Emblem Awakening.
I think I would go with Fire Emblem Awakening as my favorite game of 2013, as the story is just so much better then X. the player character in Awakening is so much more important than in X. have a little more game time in X but I still prefer Awakening more
edit: my 3ds tells me that I lie
Awakening: 674:12 hours (although I share the game with my brother)
Pokemon X: 266:23 hours

And quickly to go over some other games...
Ghosts - Adds nothing new to an overused formula. Functionally very good, but lack of originality really hurting the series from a critical viewpoint
GTA V - Just an epic from start to finish. If not for Outlast making my afraid to sleep this would be game of the year. Despite some sloppy characterization, poor writing and the complaints i posted in the thread.
Battlfield 4 - Same issues as Ghosts. Perfectly functional and fun, but stagnating overall.
FM 14 - Havn't played, but my friends who have like it, just say that it doesn't do enough new things well. Standard yearly sports release really
AC BF - Havn't played, but my friends who have like it. But doesn't advance enough apparently. New features are really good but just expansions on old features.
PCM13 - Bugged to hell
Last of Us - Pretty good, but nothing i havn't seen from the genre before. Hits more high notes than most AAA games but is a long way off being really brilliant. Also Ellen Page doesn't get naked in it, unlike...
Beyond Two Souls - Terrible game. Excellent interactive story. Also Ellen Page naked, sort of...
Pokemon - It's Pokemon. Functionally very good, just nothing revolutionary and way too many of the bastards to catch now.

EU4.
Played less than 2 hours of PCM 13 so far not counting the beta  FIFA was improved from last year too, more tactical and not pace abuse.

GTA V is hands down the game of the year.
The Walking Dead for PS3 had me in tears at the end.

Hm, I see some interesting titles here that I haven't played yet!
Looks like my gaming year of 2013 isn't over yet
Will definitely give Outlast a try.

Ellen Page wasn't in the Last of Us, so I don't know why they would randomly have her naked?
It's The Last of Us for me. The gameplay was very good and story too.
People forgetting Bioshock Infinite too?
PCM is the only cycling game, so I spent a lot of time with it but functionally it isn't a good game.
It's hard to really remember the beginning of the year games well enough so people tend to look for current games.
And Jseadog, The Walking Dead was released in 2012. Season 2 starts this month though!

EU4 all the way to the Olympus of games, incredible game, probably the best strategy game ever, closing on 300hours in it now. 
Honorable mentions: Starcraft 2:hots, Dota2 and NBA2k14 (best sports game ever imo).
Shite of the year: PCM13, done with these series most likely. 
I have not played PS3 recent hits like LoU or GTAV so far, i am sure these two would make it to my list.

No one has mentioned Papers Please! Perhaps the most addictive Indie game of the year and certainly the best game about passport documentation ever ( ). It is just utterly incredible that in these days of games that cost millions to produce with professional voice acting and photorealistic graphics the game that has most stuck with me for this entire year was one about being a border control guard:

I can agree with NCAA being better than NFL, but rumor has it that they will make another NCAA game next year and simply call it "College Football" it will still have all of the schools, but will be a different publisher, and not use the "NCAA" logo.
