Yep it will kill PCM 13 on that specs.

You only need a bigger RAM and a decent GPU/Video Card to run PCM 13 in ultra high settings.

8GB Ram is more than plenty for PCM.

The gfx card is not brilliant, the rest is fine. You should be able to run on high settings. Max settings, I don't think so. You will need a better card for that.

Thanks NL! This is what i thought for the graphic card
Which model I have to get to play at max settings? I'd really like to have beautiful graphism

Thanks

HD 7770 or 7850 would probably be a worth will set up

I have an AMD 6950 2GB with i5-2500k processor and I play at max settings with an average of 35 fps.

I consider 30 fps the minimum, below that the human eye sees it stutter.

So I'd say anything comparable to a 6950 2GB or better will do.

Edit: this one looks very good for you, and it's a shop from Paris Smile

Find a 7790 better than 7770 i think? don't really know a lot about graphic card

ShortsNL
Actually, the 7770 looks to be more of a budget card.

The 7850 will be better for you, so don't buy the one I linked to just yet.

Yes I've seen it but i can afford more than 600-650 but a friend can mount a PC for me so i've almost find the same materials for 610€ and with the MSI HD 7790
if you read a little french I can show you

ShortsNL
Sure, go ahead

alex-sonic
Someone ask for a PC to make some videos with after effect so I take some of the materials he took, as I need to record music (takes a lot of ram and cpu), make some videos too

here his:

That's a nice website, but the parts are a bit off.

I can maybe use the website to make a system for you, what is your budget? and do you already have parts that you have already bought (you said 7790) ?

alex-sonic
No I bought nothing, and I have a little restricted budget for 600 maybe 650 if it worth the price. I already have mouse and keyboard

Otherwise I know there is ldlc.com as a site where a lot of french people goes and prices are good they said. Haven't been there yet as I find the choice of materials a bit complicated when ou don't know a lot like me

The computer cannot be mounted, as I said my friend can help me so It can make me earn some price to have better materials

This is what I have made, it's 613,5 Euros.

Everything is the same from your system except:
- A better graphics card. The 7850 is better than my 6950, enough for max settings.

- A cheaper Motherboard, for 600 Euros gaming pc, a motherboard is less important, you need money for graphics card.

- Better processor, also important for a gaming PC.

- No extra CPU Fan. The CPU comes with a fan that is good enough. If you don't overclock you don't need a better one.

Ok thanks a lot again!
But, why a SSD? Do I really need it?
No ventilateur? Sorry don't know the word in english

And f*ck I swithched the computer I made from the other XD
In it there was a 4.2ghz is it better than the one you gave? for 10-15€ I can go for it if it's really better. Or it was what you mean for CPU Fan?

SSD is a lot faster than IDE. Also more expensive and less capacity. Then again, I wouldn't store important data on an SSD disk... or even IDE. Important data goes to DVD's
The perfect setup would be an SSD disk to "run" and an IDE to store crap.

Also, consider warranty and post sales service. If something goes wrong, you want to have a store nearby and fast enough to fix your machine and not have to spend money mailing it back and forth.

No problem Smile

No, you don't need it. In fact, I thought you really wanted one so I left it in. The SSD is like a super hard drive. It makes the game load faster and it makes Windows start up quicker. In your budget though, I would spend my money on a better processor/graphics card.

No ventilateur? Sorry don't know the word in english
Ventilateur = CPU (Processor) fan. It goes on top of the processor to cool it. But the processor comes with its own fan when you buy it. If you buy an extra CPU fan, you do it to replace the standard fan. This is only useful if you want to overclock. I assumed you don't, so I took it out.

A Processor can be better at lower ghz. The 4300 has 4 cores. The 6300 has six Wink

But now I have put in an even better processor (6350), and graphics card (7870), because I took out the SSD. Price is now 600,99 Grin

This should definitely run PCM 13 on max settings, and will run other games like Battlefield on high settings probably.

So how much would you guys pay for a new laptop to play PCM 2013 on max settings>?

I am looking at an i7 with best graphics card for around €1,200

what is the minimum graphics card?
Edited by MacC on 23-10-2013 17:22

ShortsNL
My estimate is a AMD 6950 or nVidia equivalent, based on my own experience with my 6950 Graphics card, that barely pulls maximum settings on PCM13.

alex-sonic
Hi NL
I just buy the computer so thanks a lot for your help, really good computer for this price !

I'll post some pictures with my config once i'll had the computer!
Is it complicated to mount the computer? My friend can make it but not before 1 week or so with the help of internet can I make it?
