Well my basketball team finished in a cup second for 2 years and the third year when they won I wasn't playing (broken leg...)

Handball University Nationals are being organized at the moment here. 24hrs before the sign up deadline there were two registered teams... we were one
Since then a load more signed up, but the Qualification round was cancelled meaning we go straight the London/South East Regional round. We will also be decently seeded, giving us an amazing chance to get to the National Finals in late February.
We've also got a London Uni league beginning in a couple of weeks, where we are really going to Top spot overall.
Ambitious, but our team includes: 7 year Austrian player, 10 year Slovakian player, 8 year Czech player, 3 year French player, 6 year Spanish player, 3x 3 year Enlgish players. And more fairly talented players. Bring it on!
I kinda dislike teams that have to import foreign players in order to compete for unimportant championships (in this case, I suppose it's exchange students in which case it's OK ).
Anyway, chipping in on topic, the (American) football season ended for me and my team in September. We managed to turn around from a horrible 2-8 record last year to 8-2 this year, ending on a split 1st place in the 2nd best division in Denmark. We didn't sign up for the playoff qualification for the top division, but we did beat the team that ended up promoting, so I guess we're capable.
Now awaits the thing I hate most about American football, the very, very long off-season (mid-September to mid-April).
My (American) football team is looking really good right now. So far we are 6-0, and currently ranked #2 in our class/ division. One more win and we are in state playoffs for 9th year in a row.

Last week I played a floorball match against our bitter rivals from Haderslev. We call it 'new firm'. We won 10-3..... It was quite a close match until the last period of 20 minutes. The score after 2 periods was only 3-1....Got to score 1 time. I'm a newbie to floorball but improving steadily. A really fun sport, but very hard to master
@Mresuperstar: But now I play co-ed intramural soccer at college, our team is 3-0 with a goal differential of +17. Making us the best co-ed team at the university right now (61 total teams). Our final regular season game is tomorrow (against the #2 ranked team). Then it's playoffs.
We won 4-1! Undefeated! I scored a goal about 45 seconds into the game. And later almost scored 10 seconds in the second half. Oh, and just missed connecting on a half-bicycle. So pumped right now!
With my chess team (yes these exist) we play 1st regional level. First match on with 5-3, been the first time in 5 years the team won the opening match of the season. Wasn't the toughest opponent yet though
how is that possible, did you guys learn that to win you shouldn't get goals against or did you actually scored more than usual
Well, the season for my team (VRC B4 (-16)) hasn't started very well.
First match (cup): 8-0 loss
Second match (league): 11-2 loss
Third match: 11-1 loss
Fourth match: 17-0 loss
Fifth match: 11-2 loss
edit: *old man voice* I remember the time when I had a letter behind my teams name, those wear the times

No, the opponents were even worse than us
We could've won with double digits, but in the end it was only 5-2
Well I'm probably going to resuscitate my floorball career, bot not on the TOP level at the moment, as I was used to until my junior years when I stopped. Third tier must be enough.

Die hard fan of Tom Boonen and Quickstep since 2004.
You guys actually call it floor ball, it's guard ball or indoor hockey. Back in my day if ya called it floor all they'd clean the floor with ur own innards, then cut them out and make a mop for ease of use.
