Are there any disadvantages to using image sharing websites which post photos for graphics, stages and stories, I am thinking of doing one of these things but i am afraid that because I am probably too young to understand it all(first time most of you will have heard that in reference tot tech ) so I don't want to do anything which will have an effect on the internet or computer
Sorry if I have posted this before but no one really answered and I am confused, I would need a full explanation if it can be offrpered.
I added a poll so I'd get a wider range of opinions
Thank you for your time.
I wouldn't say so. You just upload the pictures from your computer to an online server. Nothing as to go the other way and thus nothing should hurt your computer (unless you find some weird Russian site or something like that).
Both Photobucket and Imageshack are widely used with great satisfaction from users on this site.
Edit: And pretty sure the sites have tutorials about how to do

No mate, there is absolutely no risk that uploading a picture on a sharing website will harm your computer, trust me, I do this for years and I never, never had a problem with my PC or Internet for doing this.
I recommend you to use the ImageShack Uploader. It's a program that you can download from the ImageShack website. You can also upload the pictures directly from their website but it's faster and more comfortable if you are doing it straight from your desktop.
