I've just come to realize that the PT teams didn't attend all PT races in 1998.

Anyone who knows how race registration worked back then?

There wasn't ProTour back then. There was World Cup, where were only one-day classics, like M-S-R, L-B-L and so on. If I remember right, WC teams had to participate in that races, all other races, even Tour de France could invite teams that organizers wanted

Thanks for answering guys!

My next question would then be: What happens if I untick 'gene_b_ForceProtourInvitation' in all races but the World Cup races?

Will Tour de France and the other big races still be big races or will it be random?

The races would still be big but the organizators would decide what teams to take part and they would still pick the best teams I guess, but I have never tried...

Just try, you will see if it works, you usually get already an email with the participating teams of the tour in january, so you don't even have to simulate far into the season to see if it works Wink
