So recently i went on holiday and got pcm for dvd. I came back and realised that i left the dvd at the hotel, without the box, after having installed it on a crappy laptop. Now i want to install it on my "gaming" PC, but solely have the activation key and nothing else. Is there any solution to this problem, or do i actually have to get a new cd? Or is it possible to download the installer without paying for the activation code? ( That would be AWESOME!!!)

I slightly tried the same, where i bought the game online, but they only sent me the key. I contacted Focus to ask wether or not they could provide me with the installation files, after i gave them the key, so i could prove i had a legal copy. After some chit chat, and stuff, they stopped replying. So in your shoes, I am afraid you have to buy a new copy.
I read something similar on the official forum.
There a guy bought the game in the holidays and saw the next week at home that the disc was broken inside the box...
When asking the FocusTechSupport, they replied that they need a photo of the box incl. the broken disc, a photo of the activation key and the sales check, that he really bought it.
So you might try this and ask the FocusTechSupport there. (Obviously without the disc then. )
I had something similar with pcm12. I had the game cd but didn't have a disc drive on my new laptop. I downloaded the game through a torrent, then used my activation code to activate
