It's the most important attribute for any rider.
Higher RES = yellow bar energy spends slower. when it gets to the end your rider will be dropped and won't be able to sprint.

Red Bar is your sprint time, not yellow.
roughly speaking Green Bar is 0-160 bpm, Yellow bar is 161-180 and Red Bar is 180+ (roughly).
Without any Red Bar you cannot Sprint or Attack. You will be unable to follow certain riders etc.
Without Yellow Bar you cannot ride above normal pace, but it has less impact than Red Bar.
Without Green Bar you cannot ride over 35km/h, or there about depending on gradient/terrain.
But yes RES is the defining factor for Yellow Bar depletion rate.

You are wrong here TMM. In PCM 13, you can't sprint if you don't have yellow bar left either
But well, your stat-tests you were advertising for earlier would all clear that up, wouldn't it?
Oh, and yellow bar is 161+ of course, it drains after 180 as well
(Btw, I would rather say 166)

How do you deplete your Yellow Bar but not your Red Bar?
Not a joke, how? i have never seen it
And my stats testing takes a fuck lot of time i just don't have, that and it's pretty much solely focused on FTR

Uhm, hard pace of the peloton, going on f.e. 75-80 dot for a long time(not enough to hit 185 heartbeat).
Shouldn't be too hard.
And I understand TMM, it's just a bit strange that you advertised it multiple times but won't do it
But I agree.

I've never managed that in any PCM (including 13) but ok, that does make sense
I will do some, but i don't have as much time free as i thought. I have done some, but not enough to publish

^Jesleyh is right on this one, you can spend the yellow bar without spending the red one. I've done it a few couple times already in PCM 2013. |

Cyanide logic = "I can ride at 185bpm" "can you slow down to 170?" "No way mate i'm dead"

You're a bit wrong here. 185bpm and higher also uses yellow bar, in fact, more than with the 165-180bpm. Though you won't notice that that fast, since it takes longer for the yellow bar to run out than the red bar if you go 185+ bpm.
And you won't be able to use the red bar properly if your yellow bar is empty.

Exactly my point! How can you use up Red quicker than Yellow!!!
Using Red decreases Yellow, but using Yellow does not decrease Red... Where is the logic in that?

Yellow you can still go at sprint speed. Just not with the animatiton or acceleration (will take a bit to get there). I was being practical

I remember them saying that they fixed the acceleration stat. What does it actually affect now?

It is really acceleration now! That's just awesome! Seriously
But, (and maybe that was what you meant though), what defines red bar now? Would that also be RES? Or sprint if you sprint, FTR if you attack?

That's what i meant. because I got that acceleration is good, but that might conflict with he entire stat field we've used for sprinters before. All the stats are based on length of acceleration. the db will need a complete redo.

Has anyone tested setting leadout men properly (higher sprint, lower acceleration) to see if it works?

Red depletes significantly quicker than yellow. It also refills quicker than yellow. The logic is very simple and easy to follow.
White < 166bpm, both Yellow and Red bars refill.
Yellow < 185bpm, Yellow drains, while Red refills.
Red > 185bpm, Red and Yellow drain.
The effect of refilling and draining of the bars is based on bpm also, bars will refill faster at lower bpm, and drain faster at higher bpm.
