The Vuelta a Espana recently started and so the cycling fans from all around the world are paying attention to Spain.
So it`s the perfect time to announce the Spanish Crit series, that will start soon.
R1/ La Rambla
R2/ Parriolaburu
R3/ Barcelona Criterium
R4/ Santa Lucia
R5/ Circuit de Catalunya
3 hilly and 2 flat races and the hilly crits are surely harder than you were used to. So in especially the Spanish mountain goats will be able to show themselves here.
Highlight is definitely the last criterium on the Formula 1 course of Catalunya. Here the GC might be decided
As usual 14 teams with 5 riders each are invited to this criterium series, from the following countries: Spain, France, Italy, Portugal and South America. Depending on the nominations here I might add 1-2 Nations at a later date.
Also South America might be kicked out at a later date when enough Spanish/European riders are nominated.
All PT/PCT/CT managers are able to nominate their riders. If many managers want to nominate riders for a specific country, I will try to form a well balanced team with riders from several teams.
The maximum average is 72,99. This will secure that mainly these riders will participate that don`t get many chances to ride on their own in other races.
So, the rules for nominations remain the same as usual: all managers with eligible riders from the mentioned countries can nominate up to 5 riders (in order of preference). While we will balance the teams as fair as possible.
The following MG-teams might be able to ride in their own colours, if they'll nominate 5 riders for the specific country:
Barcelona, Iberia, Santander, CSC
Alstom, Bouygues, Evian, Pearl, Bpost, Vueling
Cisco, Vespa, ING, Kappa, Venchi, Wiggle
Prio, Adira
You are not in the list, but you have a full team as well. Feel free to nominate all of them nevertheless.
And for obvious reasons there is no guarantee for those teams above due to the high amount! Other teams with just 1-2 riders will definitely get a chance to participate first to get as many teams as possible.
You have time to nominate your players until Saturday, 8th of June, 10:00 CET.
Thanks to ggdonovan for helping with several gpx routes!!!

Oh shit... Have 5 Portugese riders, but Mestre is too strong
Oh well:
Filipe Cardoso
Cesar Andre Fonte
Bruno Lima
Marco Alexandre Ferreira Cunha
And perhaps when an entire team remains open you can let my riders ride in the 'PrivatBank-Green' with David Chokheli as domestique, as he doesn't really have a chance on riding these crits...
