Amgen Tour of California 2013
Spilak23
I know it's not a World Tour race but it deserves an own thread. Atleast it did last year. Big names starting are Sagan, Schleck, Zabriskie, Gilbert, Van Garderen and Chavanell

Will TDG be able to challenge TVG this ATOC?

De Gendt is not a guy for GC. Might win a stage though.

Sagan at least 4 stage wins ! Grin

Yup, stages 1,3,4,5 and 8 are all good for him with no big sprinters present. Might even have a chance tomorrow.

Depends on his form, if he's in his Giro 2012 form, then he might challenge the favourites. He and Westra, I'm curious about what they will do.

I hear Hushovd dropped already ...

Nice to see König starting here, hopefully he will show some good form.

It seems like Jens Voigt is the leader of Radioshack in this race, I am looking forward to that, I can't possibly run away one his last races where he will have a chance to get a good overall result from his team. Oh, and Andy. It would be great news if he finally starts to getting himself to a good form befour Le Tour. Where else he can possibly try to do something outside of July. Possibly here.

I thought this was next week Pfft

Finally, one of my favourite races and awesome presentation for a HC race.

Meersman is riding here? Attention for him, he might be the only one who can challenge Sagan, even if I highly doubt he can finish ahead of the Slovakian.

I don't think it will be a sprint today Sad

Matthews, Keough and van Poppel are fast, too, plus Rathe and some other Americans will try as well.

We appear to have witnessed the first sign of 'form' for Andy Schleck. NetApp dropped the likes of Sagan, Voigt and Gilbert on the recent Cat 3 climb, but not Schleck.

Perhaps more indicative of the lower form of others, but still. Makes a change that Andy wasnt the one being dropped Pfft
