Who else is looking forward to the first cobbled classics of the season?
Discuss both the Omloop het Nieuwsblad and Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne here.
(I hope I'm allowed to make this thread? ) |

Let the cobbles come
My prediction:
Omloop: Nike Terpstra
K-B-K: Mark Cavendish

Omloop as always is the proper season starter. Can't wait. Although tbf TdU and Oman ( who we didn't really see at all live ) proved to be quite good races already ).
Boom looks in great shape for Omloop. My favorite there. Terpstra is another one with fine form so far. Thomas should challenge as well from otusiders as well as few others obviosuly. Pozzatto should do very well too. Flecha winning would be great though. Wondering how well Stannard will do as well.

Why hasn't anyone mentioned Roelandts yet? He's one of my favourites for the Omloop.
Also curious if Farrar can make his way back to the sprinting top. |

Roelandts has an injury at his finger, it hurts when he ride over the cobbles. Not ideal for the classics

I've seen the video, but I don't think it will be an issue in the adrenaline of the moment.
Gert Dockx will race twice? =D
They probably mean Sander Cordeel.
Also, Quickstep's team is already the best on the list with only the four riders that are mentioned. =)

I think Greipel or Cavendish for K-B-K...
The Omloop...mmm much people can win this race, it's hard to tell who...But a rider like Boom, Vanmarke, Terpstra, Flecha...can make it I think.
This race is to early for Boonen I think. |

Keukeleire for Orica Greenedge really had a great cobbles season last year. Could be his time to shine. These two races suit him a little better than Roubaix and co. |

Boom for Omloop seems like a solid bet. With Boonen still getting back to 100% I hope Chavanel gets more of a look-in and can take sole leadership.
Greipel to take KBK.

I hope to see a great Vanmarcke and Boom in the Omloop. I also think that Flecha will be good there, because he went to the podium there the last four(?) times. And for KBK I say Theo Bos. He has already won a stage in Algarve, and he finished well in other stages. Hope he can surprise us sunday.

Terpsta is the leader of OPQS, Boonen will have a free role.

A pity Cancellara will not ride
Therefore I hope Pozzato wil win the Omloop.
What about Sagan, will he participate?
