Amazing work, once again. It's really enjoyable to read. I only wish they would make things like this in real life, too! Helps me a lot to get up to date with the cobbled side of the Man-Game. Also great titles and sub-titles for the articles creative and original! |

You've completely missed my team in the preview for Bahir Dar and in the season goals. I have Hainleite as a goal.

Another excellent issue, I enjoy how you delve into the history of the races. Your previews and predictions are very well thought out - it reads like a real magazine. It really is superb.
I'd like to think things may play out differently with either the Swiss machine or the German lone wolf soloing away from the sprinting B's once or twice starting with Omloop!

I wrote the Bahir Dar preview, and I didn't forget you, there are just only so many names you can mention, and Veelers was beyond the point where I stopped naming riders.

Great preview, another very enjoyable read Well done Mhaley45 and mb2612 for the great preview of course
And agreed about Vanbilsen. He may be the highest paid as a talent from those cobblers, but he will have all the necessary secondary stats to succeed.

Indeed the best talent this season had to offer in my opinion coming with the complete package.
I might want to take him off your payroll if you feel overwhelmed by the amount of your talents
While on the other hand, I find Zepunkte is still overprized a lot, 260k last season iirc is double of what you paid now, and his secondary stats are rather weak in comparison.

Smowz--Cancellara is always a threat to power away in the last 20k. Omloop could be a good race to accomplish that.
CountArach--If you are not aware of it, but go to GOOGLE IMAGES then search for A rider, race, sponsor and you can find thousands of great free pics.
Starting to work on issue #3.
I want to write an article exploring the different training options for developing cobblers. I would like to include in the article 3 team directors who would be willing to create a training plan for a level 1.00 potential 7 rider. I will tell you which rider and I would like you to include
Lvl1 to 2 Training
Lvl2 to 3 Training
Lvl3 to 4 Training
Lvl4 to Max Training
Most important why you seleted the training options you did and what other factors you may have considered -- ie cobblers you already have signed, what tour you race on or hope to race on by the time the rider is maxed. The rider's nationality, his starting base stats, etc.
If you would like to join this project send me a private message with a short note about why you want to participate and what suggestions you may have to impact the project.

Great work, superb reading and nice interview with Bewley.
Only thing I am afraid of is that there could be similar problems which were there in the last season. What I mean - there were breakaway wins in some of races and hopefully that won't be a case this time as cobble teams are stronger than in the last season, at least in my opinion..

MM - You did a great job getting him for such a low salary. He is one of the 3 best cobblers in the CT and will scare most of the PCT team when you ride in C1 races.
Don't miss reading the PT race previews as Thomas has already been mentioned in at least two for his past races.
I love it when I make a really good move, then I remember my grandfather telling me -- "Don't get a swelled head even blind squirrels find nuts once in awhile!"
Really glad you are enjoying the Cobbler. Two C2 races are being profiled in issue #3 -- Nokere Koerse and Trofej Porec.
