How to get avatar to show up

Hey PCMDaily, Iv'e been wondering about this for a long time. When I go into the edit profile page, and choose the avatar I want(100x100 px; less than 30 kb) and then press update profile, my avatar won't show up.
Can you tell me why?

there can't be a space between words.
example: new avantar will not work
new_avatar will work

I must say that you should maybe change it a little bit, since it's hard to see your avatar correctly. If you don't look good, it's just a black box...

Its not a black box It just looks like that when you see your screen is flipped over.

In Photoshop the avatar is a lot brighter But I'll make it even brighter now
