I would like to know if I am the only one against this "off-season" bans.
Chris Vandevelde, Tom Danielson, Levi Leipheimer, Scarponi,..., all this guys received 3-6 months bans, but most of them will be able to start racing at the beginning of the next season. Am I the only one who thinks this is stupid and unfair for the other riders?

I agree with you, but the law differs from country to country. I think Aquarius said it in the December News thread, that if they were from France, the off season time would not be counted.
For the guys who cooperate, fine. For Scarponi, F*** him.
And midway for guys who pretend to tell all but don't, like Leipheimer.
"Oh I doped until 2006, then stopped, then 2008 again. That Tour podium in between was totally clean".
Sure Levi, whatever you say.
And if you think that's a slap on the wrist, wait until the Schleck decision. When one of their guys is caught, the luxembourg authorities always manage to make up the most painfully idiotic made-up-on-the-spot justifications for letting them go free.....and for Frank it'll be the second time.

Exactly.
No suspension for using Fuentes' "programs" - I still don't get it.
But it was for a training program. You're being unfair to Frank.
As somebody pointed out on twitter (I reckon it was F. Grappe, but I wouldn't swear), has anyone already seen a training plan from Fuentes, Ferrari, or other doping specialists ? Most likely not as there must be none, the money is just used for advices for using doping products optimally and possibly the doping products themselves.

In fact I did meet him. It was 1994 and I had an SRM power meter. He looked down at it and he said...."What is that?".
I said "It's a watt measuring device". He goes "What do you need that for?"

Ferrari's knowledge about sports training is somewhere around the level of my grandmother's. He's a haematologist. He works with blood. That's it.
