New sponsors, new focus
With Jack Wolfskin stepping down from the position of main sponsor, the team is going to see a few changes in its structure. The biggest change is that the team time - trials won't mean as much to the team as they did in the past.
This means that most of the time - trial train will become available during the transfer season and riders such as Dominique Cornu, Joost Posthuma and Dennis Van Winden might be looking for a new team in 2013.
It hasn't been decided yet what type of riders are going to be brought to replace them, but according to some rumors, Mark Cavendish is one of the targeted riders for the next transfers window. This could mean that the time - trial train might be replaced by a sprint one!
Also, among the new riders for next season we might see some young talents as well as this is one of the parts that have been neglected in the past by the management. Andrei Nechita, Wout Poels, Robin van der Hugenhaben and Michael Van Stayen being the only promising riders "raised" by the team.

Very interesting. Dominique Cornu is tempting in my new setup, though I'm not sure how to use him, as there seems to be ever better TT'ers, and only the best will get any sort of result. He does fit in perfectly though, so Team Festina might be interested in doing some sort of sprint <> TT deal with you.

That's sound interesting. But there might be some problems as Cornu has expressed the fact that he wants to make a return to the CT, where he believes is his true place.

Considering the fact that he hasn't ridden for a Belgian team since 2007, that doesn't sound too crazy.

He should come to Festina to lead the TTT as the team grows to win the PT in 2013. He is definately too good to be in the CT. A little bit of training and he will be a PT star at Festina.

New jersey revealed
White seems to be one of the main colors that is going to be worn next year in the peloton and Project 1t4i will be one of the teams that will have a mainly white equipment.
The design of the jersey is quite simple, but Will007 managed to make it look amazing in order to continue the Jack Wolfskin tradition of looking awesome in the pack.

I think it goes without saying that I liked it too. But that green wasn't really my thing so I asked Will to change it to blue

Joost Posthuma dominates the Dutch Championships
In a previous statement it was announced that Joost Posthuma was going to leave the team after the National Championships. But everything seems to have changed now as he managed to win both of the Dutch national events.
There's still a chance that he could be riding in a different team in 2013, but he will most likely stay with Project 1t4i.

Swedbank - PEAB scouts picked something up during a conversation between Project 1t4i and Milka - AVG:
Michael Vanderaerden is, indeed, a very interesting rider.....but first we have to decide if he is stronger than our main sprinter at the moment - Michel Kreder. There's no point in signing him if he is going to be our third sprinter or something like that.
Swedbank - PEAB just want to say that it could easily be solved by just letting Kreder go! Swedbank knows a team with some countrymen to Kreder, that team may be interested in him. |

Project 1t4i would like to respond to Swedbank - PEAB statement with both good news and bad news:
The Good news are that Michel Kreder is probably not going to be a Project 1t4i rider in 2013, inded.
The Bad news are that Swedbank - PEAB are not the only team to have shown interest in the Dutch sprinter. The new based Dutch team sponsored by ING have already put Kreder on their shortlist.

Swedbank ain´t surprised that some other team already had shown intrest in him.
No matter what happens in this potential transferchaos, Swedbank wish good luck for the coming season!
Nice jersey btw.
I knew I had read about him somewhere, just couldn´t find it in your HQ´s but now I see it!

Thank you. And good luck to you too.
Who knows, maybe you'll come with the best offer for Kreder. This could be the year when you finally transfer one of my sprinters. If I'm not mistaken, you were also interested in Van Stayen last year.

Jack Wolfskin has been a very important part in this team's history so it's very important for us to pay them a tribute. For all those interested in what the team did in the previous years and how it looked like and for all those statistics freaks out there: the third post in this thread is a must read.

A new home Grand Tour?
For the past two years, Jack Wolfskin focused their GT season around the Vuelta a Espana, but now, the as the new sponsors are trying to change the team's focus it's very likely that Vuelta won't be a goal next season. A strong support to that theory is the fact that none of the current Spanish riders are likely to continue with the team in 2013.
Even though the team will have some French riders, the Tour de France doesn't look like to be new three weeks focus as the team manager had this to say on twitter:
