1. As I'm not very technically gifted when it comes to computers I'll need your guidance on this one. Now, I want to copy my savegame from my CSC Story, so that I have a savegame where I tell the story from and one where I just play the game and don't have to worry about exporting results all the time. So how do I do that?
2. I'm playing with Stanoscase and I'm using patch 1.0.2.0, Can I install the newest patch without it causing damage to my savegame files?

if you install a new patch, you will have to start a new career
as for number 1, copy and paste
i may not have understood that fully, but that's the answer as i see it
Well I obviously still want my story savegame file, but as I've begun to like that career very much I would like to copy it, to just play without doing a story out of it.
And about the patch one, I asked whether it would damage my savegame files (and I'm especially thinking about my CSC career here) if I installed the new patch?

Just copy and paste it in the same place as it was, you will now have 2 sets of savegame, one with it's original name and the other "Copy of..." just rename it to whatever you want the non-story one to be called

It definatley wouldn't help them, there would either be no effect or your savegame will crash and burn
