Well Gilbert will surely have to go down as one of the favourites given his history here and his present form, but Contador will also be one to watch after winning Milano-Torino.

Think that Gilbert will win easily- his form has improved a lot since earlier this year. |

Mind blowing stat from cyclingnews. Did you realize no Spaniard has ever won this? Insane. You would have thought somebody would have taken it.
Anyway, I bet on Cunego, only because the odds for everyone else seemed low, and at 30-1 I'll take a two time winner, no matter what his form is (I bet $3, by the way). With that said, I can't see Gilbert not winning this. Clearly in form, and the course is perfect for him. If BMC plays its cards right, he'll take it. |

I expect Gilbert to win... Good history and great form
Contador for a podium
Uran is looking good at the moment as well
and lets not forget the battle for the Individual Ranking
Wiggins vs Purito
This could make the difference

The course isn't very good for Wiggins whereas it isn't too bad for Purito.
I wonder if we will get another unexpected result this year? Like Zaugg winning it, which no one saw coming. It is the time of year when everyone is getting tired, so it is possible.

Gilbert seems to finally be back though, so I expect him to do a lot better than last year.
Wiggins will have to hope that Purito has a bad day and doesn't score any points. I can't see Wiggins taking with the form he has been in lately.

I am completely on fire with saying stupid things these last few days.
Anyway, I'm blaming my Yom Kippur fast coupled with a heavy workload coupled with some physical injuries. I love excuses...but not as much as Tom Danielson...zing! |

Jewish?
My rampant support of Israel wasn't enough of a giveaway?
Hell, my Man-Game team was El Al - IDF
Although, worth noting, if I do rejoin the Man Game, Israeli cycling will not be making a comeback. I've got a better idea... |

Yeah, now that I'm looking at it, I pretty much left the site back in March of '11, and it looks like you didn't join till a couple months after. I mean, I know I was back periodically, but I think all that stuff would have been before your time. |

Becoming the old generation, huh?
I would nearly say "we" are the third one here already. More or less 07/08, 09/10 and 11/12 are quite distinctive imo.
