Due to a massive breakdown on my old computer I was forced to rebuild it into an new (sort of new anyway) while ia had no problem in reactivating other games through steam I do have a major problem with PCM 10-11-12 It simply refuses to acknowledge my serial number (it says activation key is not valid anymore due to significant hardware changes)
Okay I thought then I just to re-register..but no then I got the message : Programme error cannot initialise program correct (0x0000005)
I wonder if anyone have a solution to this problem I recall there was said about renaming some folders and that should take care of the problem, but ay help would be appreciated (Notice the my PCM games are not on Steam) |

When you buy the game, you received a key, this key allows you to install the game on three totally different computers (or three times on the same computer).
Therefore that "significant hardware changes" message should not happen. Are you sure that you are using the initial key and that you have activations left?
In any case, you would need to contact the seller to get more activations because there is no way around the security, at least when you want to do it legally.

Did you try deleting everything related to PCM in the key registry? |

It's a bit weird. Now all of a sudden i managed to get 10-11 up and running but I still can't get 12 to work and I think I know what is wrong. When I installed 1.3 I wasn't able to use the editor anymore and I belive that there is a glitch in that patch which will influence the initialisation,so I wonder if I should delete the whole game and then reinstall it..and then see what happens (and I am using the right key and have activations left) |

Hi, when installing the daily expansion pack, right at the end of installation it aborts.
Saying I dont have writers privilige in the program files folder to install the frames files.
And i have to check and change my user account.
Anybody know how to fix this as installation aborts immediately.

henkjmol:
You are in the wrong thread, you should seek for help here: https://pcmdaily.c...d_id=24928
But you could try this: Install the pack into an empty folder on your desktop. After 'installation', move the content from there to the correct folder. |

Now I'm reall gettinf frustrated.I have completely removed PCM12 from the computer. When re-installing I still get the same message Cannot register or install due to massive change in the hardware config....nor will it initialize and it has thrown Autorun out. I simply refuse to buy 2012 again as I had to with 2010...I consider this close to fraud from Cyanide |

Did you contact the seller already?
BTW: This has nothing to do with Cyanide. They do not sell the game. If you bought the game on-line, it would be Focus or Steam which are to blame, else it would be your local distributor. |

No Lachi I haven't I bought it through here to support this site so I guess it is Focus but I haven't an adress ( i have the serial number though) Reason for not having and adress is that I had to change mailbox too (the old one was hijacked) (very annoying) |
