I promised my friends that PCM12 would arrive on Steam at release date, since I were pretty sure I got that information from PCM.Daily. Can't find it on Steam under Comming Soon, does anyone know if the Steam release has been cancelled? It's a million times easier with a Steam version, than Cyanides own system. |

I've been checking and wondering about that, my only guess it's that it will be released later on Steam. I'll ask Mike to ask Focus whether they will release the game on Steam.

Okay, I can confirm there will be Steam release after finding this bit on new info :
For the winners of the PCM World Cup, we are waiting the Steam release to give you the keys. So please be patient, we don't forget you.
You have to find PCM 08 folder in the Steam folder, that depends on your PC so you should do some searching on google.

Hopefully it will be a part of a Steam Summer sale. 40 euro seems extreme for a game with fewer functions than last year, and endless new bugs. |

That's pretty much up to you. However, I'd choose digital download over Steam, as beta patches are not released on Steam. On the other hand, Steam has Steam achievements. |

Well there's only one patch more for PCM so I doubt there'll be any beta patches coming - with all critical bugs fixed.
Steam is having a summer sale, and will have almost all of its games 25% - 75% percent off. PCM might be on there, so it might be cheaper getting it from there - one small advantage

I saw PCM 2012 on the leaked list of steam 2012 summer sale games... supposedly it starts tomorrow. I think I'll wait for that and see! |
