You might have noticed the thread in the General-forum with the same name. This is now the "proper" thread for this semi-story. The reason I'm calling it a "semi-story" is because I'm am not going to make detailed reports, etc. like most other story writers, instead I will aim to get as far into the game as possible. Starting this just a week before the release of PCM2012 might be bad timing, but I hope some of you might follow it still.
As mentioned, this will not be the most detailed story in the world. I will make reports after every season (possibly more often if something very special happens) and give somewhat detailed recaps of the major races aswell as the evolution of riders.
I will start uploading the results tomorrow. If you want something special, maybe a screenshot of your favourite rider then please let me know!

Trivia: This would prove to be Michel Kreders "big break", he would later go on to show more great results... This was alos the season that Farrar really showed himself, winning Milan-Sanremo, the Giro-point jersey aswell as 5 stages.

Trivia: This was a season of some momentous happenings. Roman Kreuziger really showed his abilities as a stage racer when it comes to week-long races. His wins in P-A, Romandie and Pais Vasco was just a taste of what was yet to come for the following years. He also showed that he was capable of bringing home the bacon by picking up the win in Fleche Wallonie and San Sebastian. In other news, the great Swiss cheese, Fabian Cancellara, proved he was perhaps the greatest time trailist of all time by picking up his 7th consecutive win in the WC ITT. Gilbert also showed himself by winning the WC RR for the 3rd time in a row.
Andy Schleck was finally able to win the Tour de France, but only after 6 GC-favourites had crashed out, aswell as 3 more who didn't even start. The route also had just one TT-stage.

Trivia: Another season where we saw some major results. One is hard pressed to find one element to bring up, especially when the moments you have to chose from are Philip Gilbert winning the Vuelta, Mikhael Ignatiev being crowned the World Champion from a breakaway win and Ricardo Riccos return to the podium. By winning both San Sebastian and the KoM-jersey in the Giro he showed he was back, much to the anger of some...
This was also the season where, what some had expected, would happen; Fabian Cancellara loses the WC ITT for the first time in 7 years. Even though he won last year, it was by a narrow margin of 7 seconds down to nr. 2, Tony Martin. Having not picked up a win in neither the classics nor here, one has to wonder if this is the last we have seen of Spartacus...

Trivia: The 2016-season will be an emotional one for many cycling fans as we saw several great riders announce their retirement. These include Samuel Sanchez, Purito, Danilo Di Luca, Thor Hushovd, Cadel Evans and Ivan Basso. And as these great riders step back, new ones take their place. This season we saw some up-and-coming riders who had some great results, especially the young German Florian Schulze who got a 15th overall in the Tour and a 10th overall in the Vuelta, aswell as picking up the youth jerseys in both Tours.
Some of Cancellaras most loyal fans thought that last seasons dissapointing results was just a case of bad luck and for a moment many thought they were right when he took his 3rd overall win in the Eneco Tour, a new record, but when the WC ITT came along it was a totally different story. Coming in 1.15 behind the winning Phinney and not a single decent result in the classics for years was the final proof that many had been waiting for, the great Swiss Fabian Cancellaras dominance had come to an end...
In the other WC-race, the road race, Gilbert showed he was back and with a vengeance. Not only did he pick up his 4th WC win making him the first rider ever to win 4 WC RR-titles, but Belgium could celebrate having gotten 4 riders in the top 4; Gilbert, Hermans, Van Avermaet and Seeldrayers.
Alberto Contador showed he was back by winning his 6th Tour de France. Can the Spaniard equal Lance Armstrongs incredible record of 7 overall wins? Maybe he will, but he is certainly the favourite. Farrar also continued his amazing dominance in the Giro by winning 6 stages, thus bringing his Giro-stage win count up to 28.

I will not purchase PCm12, no. I'm sticking with 2011 for another year so this story has the potential to go quite far.
I have reached July 2016 and I will soon give a recap of the previous seasons. I haven't taken any screenshots so far since there arn't that many changes so early on, but from now on I will start with screenshots.
