I've been here for about a month now, and I've got to say, PCM Daily is the greatest online community I've ever seen. It's small (of course, cycling!) but that way you get to know everyone. A lot of members are incredibly helpful. Just wanted to say this in the off-topic everything else! I'm sure many share my opinion? |

I totally agree with you! (although most other members hate me )

Wait until we get to he Tour and ruben starts having his opinion on everything... ehehe.
No but I agree. I've been lurking here since 2008, started posting a month or so ago, but I've never felt like raging yet (which I often do), which proves enough about the kindness of people here. |

I don't (yet)
And Ian, you're right, this is the best online community I've ever seen.

PCM.Daily is an awesome community, indeed! Hats off for CrueTrue for what he has been able to create here.
It's almost 4 years now since I've joined the site and I still enjoy every minute spent here. Every time I open my browser there's a PCM.Daily tab in it.
The secret is that's not only about PCM or cycling but it's about everything. You can share here experiences from any domain with people all over the world.

Wohoo, wait till we get to Tour and Sky hype begins
Well I'd say this is the best PCM community there is by quite margin. Friendlies and closeness of this community make this a real place to enjoy, comment and view.
Kudos to Mike for creating this special place
Mike we love you

I agree it's probably the best on-line fan community for a game I've seen.
Personally, I haven't even bothered to set an avatar, and I don't post much at all, but that's just because there's always another smart person voicing my opinion before I got to say mine and I only want to add valuable contributions.
I think the community is quite mature compared to other on-line games. From what I've read, most people here are studying at university or something similar. It must be because of the fact that PCM is quite a strategic game that it attracts this particular crowd. |

Well, I'm 14, but yes, most members are in their 20's.

Wow, didn't know we had a doctor in the house! I must say that's a great study to combine with a sport, not time-wise, but knowledge-wise.
EDIT: btw I've only discovered pcm daily a couple of months ago. What's all this I'm hearing about TDF? Does the place go crazy, then? I must say I'm curious. It's a shame I'm going to miss the last 3 stages of TDF! But since it is because I'm in France myself, cycling in the mountains, I can live with it

Check trough the cycling topics from last year's July and see the number of posts and pages each stage generated. It was pretty crazy.

The great thing about this place is the real sense of community that you don't get as strongly in most places.
I'm nowhere near as active as before (and only in the cycling section nowadays), but it's a cool place to come back to once in a while. Mostly when the cycling season hits full swing, from March to October.
Welcome dude
EDIT: I joined 5 years ago. Wow. Feels like 10. And what I was doing 10 years ago was....starting junior high school? That feels like 50 years ago.

Its honestly great around the Tour. The story sections are jam packed and the daily Tour Stage threads sometimes reach 75+ pages I think. (although the technical issue section can be a pain to scroll through)
I believe last year there was a new "most members online at one time" record broken during July!
The discussions are usually interesting, and when your favourite rider wins, its fun to brag.
I also love this place.

For different reasons though
And yeah, this is a great community. Lots of members always ready to help, good mood in general, and a strong community sense. Nice place no doubt.

Yeah, this is an excellent forum, I joined 4 years ago, having already lurked for almost a year. I really like it here, it's small enough that most people are recognisable after they have 100 or so posts.

Ive been here for over 3 years now, had the occasional arguments with people, but that's to be expected as everyone has an opinion. Friendly community with a great passion for Cycling. The people of the forum have changed me as a person, I remember when I first came on I used to type lyk dis haha. Which was really annoying and looking back on can see how so, as now it really annoys me. Credit to Crue for creating and running this site, as it must take up half his social life, thanks mate, credit to all the admin's here you look after the place along with Crue to keep all the nonsenses from spoiling our community, credit to everyone who works on the various DB's and other parts of the forum, like taking the time to write stories as they are a joy to read. The DB's are weeks/ months of endless tireless work and huge thank you to the people who have patience to do this! And finally thanks to every member who get involved on here, a mixture of the above is what makes this the best forum community in the world!
I really enjoy this place!
And Alakagom, what happened to the hot girls pictures
