...Is watching one of your younger/lesser abled riders grow!
I love it! To see riders progressing through the year is such a good feeling! What do you all think? |

I agree. That's what I like the most. I do, however, struggle to find any decent newcommers. They all end at 70ish in one skill, while all other skills are rubbish.

They always look like they have potential though! I have a newly brought in South African rider who looks like he could be handy in Stage Races, he has 63-65 for HIL and MO, finegrs crossed! ** |

My best feeling in PCM is making it past season 2 and winning the Paris Roubaix or TDF or Tour of Flanders

For me, these are the two hardest races to win. Milan San Remo even harder. Awesome to finally win them though.

I love riding the MSR, the game seems to love late attacks as in real life, i love either trying to control the late breaks for a sprint (the more challenging way) or joining the attack on La Cipressa/ Poggio Di San Remo and contesting the victory!
My best ever feeling was winning Amstel Gold - IMO hardest race on the game!

Bringing through young riders is definitely the best thing for me, especially if they become world class. On PCM10, I had an Italian climber, signed at 21, who won the Giro four times on the bounce as well as other tours and classics (Pais Vasco, Lombardia, etc.).
Winning any of the big one day classics with an underdog is also a pretty good feeling. I won La Fleche Wallonne with Uran by outsprinting everyone on the Mur de Huy. I was actually cheering, which was a first!!

Haha, I haven't won anything much of note yet, still in the first season, although I have just won the Pais Vasco with Vinokourov!
I'm also starting to see a development of riders who started with me. Rafaa Chtuoui has been doing good lately and is improving a lot.
One question though! Do stats actually improve during the season or just at the off-season? |

They can improve during the season - and decline
My best moment has to be a tie between:
1. Dominating the Vuelta. I had 4 riders in the Top 10! But 1st wasn't one of them
2. Winning with Dan Martin on 2013 Alpe deux huez. Was in a group with Contador, A. Schleck, and Gesink. I beat them all in a sprint.
None of my prospects have really panned out, so that's definetly not one of my best moments. Can someone explain to me how a 19 year old with 66 on sprint and 5 star potential end with a 72?????

Definitely developing riders. Especially when you can start winning races with them and you're all like "bitch, I scouted that rider".
I feel so gutted when they sign for another team and not mine. Then it's all like "fool, I got you this far, why the hell are you leaving me? Come back, I can change!"

Winning the World Tour with a fast declining Valverde.
He had 77 CL and 79 HIL start of the year and end of the year 75CL and 77 HILL (Full Cycling Manager DB)
I went with the idea of riding as many WT stages as best possible without overdoing it on the race days. Result
-Tour de France 3rd + 3 stage victories + 12 days yellow (lost it on the final ITT )
-3rd World CH. Road race
-2nd Fleche Wallone
-3rd Plouay
-7th San Sebastian
-5th Liege Bastogne Liege
-3rd Giro di Lombardia
-6th Amstel Gold Race
-2nd GP Quebec
-3rd GP Montreal
-4th Vuelta a Pais Vasco + 3 stagewins
-5th Dauphine
-1st Volta a Catalunya + stagewin
-2nd Paris Nice + stagewin
-1st Tour down Under + 3 stagewins
-10th Tour of Beijing
-1st Spanish Road Championship
-2nd Vuelta a Burgos
-4th Giro dell Emilia
-1st Giro dell Romagna
-1st Memorial Marco Pantani
-1st Gran Premio Bruno Beghelli
-1st Giro del Veneto
-2nd GP Industria e Commercio di Carnaghese
-1st GP Industria e Comerrcio di Prato
pretty stellar. But now he goes to GreenEdge, but he declined a lot... so I'm quite happy
I got Contador + Gesink as replacements

Winning Milan-San Remo with Simon Gerrans while wearing the Australian Champions Jersey in an attack in the dieing kilometers. Not entirely the same as the 2012 Milan-San Remo, but it was very similar and felt great! |

My favourite victories have been where I won the race with a specific plan and it all worked as I'd hoped.
Another favourite that sticks out was a 45km solo. I attacked to get the mountain jersey points, and ended up getting about 1m30 on a slow peloton, so decided to stay out, in the hope of covering for my GC guy. Ultimately, the guys in the chase group ended up all playing chess and trying to second guess each other while not towing my GC man to a victory. |
